Senior Manual QA Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer based in India.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of quality assurance for an AI-powered platform handling large volumes of support knowledge. You will work across API, regression, multilingual, and AI-output testing to ensure reliable and consistent product experiences. The position combines strong manual QA expertise with exposure to automation frameworks and CI/CD integration. You will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, developers, and technical leads to shape test strategies and acceptance criteria. Accountabilities

• Own quality assurance activities across the platform, covering retrieval accuracy, relevance, multilingual outputs, APIs, integrations, and regression scenarios.
• Define test strategies and acceptance criteria in collaboration with Business Analysts and engineering stakeholders.
• Validate AI-driven and RAG/LLM outputs for accuracy, consistency, and relevance across supported use cases.
• Perform multilingual testing and validate outputs across German, Italian, French, and Dutch environments.
• Conduct API contract testing using Postman and REST-based testing tools for platform consumers and integrations.
• Verify synchronization and writeback processes, including versioning and deprecation handling.
• Maintain regression coverage for agent-facing functionality and ensure critical workflows remain stable.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate QA activities into CI/CD pipelines and improve testing efficiency.
• Identify defects, investigate issues, and communicate findings clearly to developers and technical leads.
• Promote consistent quality standards across diverse environments, systems, and user experiences.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in QA engineering, with strong hands-on manual testing expertise.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as pytest or equivalent tools.
• Strong knowledge of API testing using Postman or REST-based testing solutions.
• Practical experience integrating QA processes into CI pipelines and development workflows.
• Familiarity with RAG, LLMs, or evaluation of AI-generated outputs is an advantage.
• Experience with multilingual testing, particularly German, Italian, French, or Dutch, is highly valued.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to develop clear test strategies, acceptance criteria, test cases, and quality standards.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with BAs, developers, engineers, and technical leads.
• A quality-focused mindset and commitment to delivering accurate, consistent, and reliable user experiences.
• Familiarity with Azure is desirable.
