Profile match
Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Principal Scrum Master based in United States.

The Senior Principal Scrum Master will lead and facilitate an Agile Release Train (ART), enabling effective planning, execution, coordination, and continuous improvement across multiple Agile teams. This role is central to driving predictable program delivery by managing cross-team dependencies, risks, impediments, and delivery metrics. You will work closely with Product Management, Solution Architects, Engineering teams, and other stakeholders to align priorities and execution. The position will help implement and optimize the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for Large Solutions while supporting governance, compliance, and end-to-end traceability. You will facilitate key ART events and coach teams toward stronger Agile practices and more efficient delivery processes. The role also requires close coordination with reporting teams to ensure application, database, and schema changes are accurately reflected in reporting. This is a fully remote opportunity offering the chance to influence Agile transformation and program execution within a complex, compliance-focused environment.

Accountabilities:

    • Lead and facilitate key Agile Release Train events, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt sessions.
    • Coordinate dependencies, risks, impediments, and cross-team activities to support predictable and successful program delivery.
    • Monitor ART performance through relevant Agile metrics and provide clear, transparent progress and status reporting to stakeholders.
    • Partner with Product Management, Solution Architects, Engineering teams, and business stakeholders to align priorities, planning, and execution.
    • Coach Agile teams and program stakeholders on SAFe practices, driving continuous improvement and optimizing delivery processes.
    • Support implementation of SAFe for Large Solutions while ensuring Agile practices align with program governance, compliance, and end-to-end traceability requirements.
    • Maintain lifecycle traceability across Requirement, Epic, Feature, Story, and Release levels.
    • Coordinate with reporting teams to keep reporting capabilities synchronized with application development, including database table and schema changes that may affect reporting accuracy.
    • Help drive Agile transformation and effective delivery practices across program, portfolio, and enterprise environments.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
      • 4+ years of experience in Agile program execution, including at least 2 years serving as a Release Train Engineer, Agile Coach, Agile Program Manager, or Agile Project Manager.
      • SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certification.
      • Hands-on experience with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile methodologies, and large-scale Agile delivery.
      • Strong experience managing cross-functional teams, program dependencies, risks, and delivery challenges.
      • Proficiency with Agile lifecycle management tools such as Jira, DevOps, or Rally.
      • Strong communication, collaboration, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills across multiple organizational levels.
      • Experience in government, federal, compliance-heavy, or highly regulated environments is preferred.
      • Familiarity with Lean Portfolio Management (LPM), DevSecOps, and Agile Release Trains in regulated environments is a plus.
      • Experience coaching at the program, portfolio, or enterprise level to support broader Agile transformations is preferred.
      • Ability to quickly learn enterprise purchasing and requisition platforms such as SC360, SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle iProcurement.
      • U.S. citizenship is required, along with the ability to obtain and maintain a BI Full 6C (T4) Public Trust designation.
      • Benefits:

        • Salary range of $148,750-$201,250 USD, with final compensation based on experience, geographic location, and applicable contractual requirements.
        • Fully remote work from any U.S. location.
        • Full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
        • Less than 10% travel required.
        • Multiple medical plan options, including plans with Health Savings Accounts.
        • Dental and vision coverage.
        • 401(k) plan with pre-tax and post-tax contribution options and employer matching.
        • Flexible work weeks where applicable to support work-life balance.
        • Paid vacation, sick, personal, holiday, parental, military, bereavement, and jury duty leave.
        • Typically 15 days of paid leave per calendar year for new employees, plus 10 paid holidays, prorated based on hire date.
        • Up to 160 hours of paid family leave during a rolling 12-month period for eligible employees.
        • Short- and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment coverage, personal accident insurance, critical illness coverage, and business travel and accident insurance.
        • Additional employee programs and rewards designed to support professional development, financial well-being, and work-life balance.
