You will translate strategic priorities into structured plans and drive initiatives from planning through implementation and sustainment. Working across business, technology, change management, vendors, and executive stakeholders, you will bring clarity to ambiguous situations and keep critical work moving forward. The role combines hands-on project execution with governance, stakeholder leadership, and continuous improvement. Success requires strong ownership, sound judgment, and the ability to operate independently with limited direction. You will also help strengthen project delivery standards, tools, and ways of working across the organization.
Accountabilities:
- Lead project setup, planning, and execution, including project charters, roadmaps, integrated schedules, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, and phase exit criteria.
- Manage day-to-day delivery by driving task ownership, monitoring timelines, tracking decisions, resolving issues, reporting progress, and escalating risks or blockers when necessary.
- Create structure in ambiguous environments by assessing priorities, sequencing activities, managing scope, budget, and quality considerations, and maintaining momentum with limited direction.
- Lead cross-functional teams involving business, technology, change management, vendors, program management, and executive stakeholders.
- Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, steering committees, milestone reviews, and decision forums with clear objectives, actions, and outcomes.
- Prepare concise, executive-ready communications covering project health, progress, risks, required decisions, next steps, adoption, business value, and operational readiness.
- Apply established project management standards, lifecycle phases, governance forums, reporting expectations, and project documentation requirements.
- Ensure appropriate delivery discipline across feasibility, design, build, testing, deployment, closure, sustainment, milestone reviews, change control, and formal approvals.
- Identify gaps in existing project delivery practices and recommend practical improvements that strengthen standards, tools, and execution.
- Support successful adoption, communications, training readiness, value realization, and transition into steady-state operations.
- Maintain clear project documentation that supports effective delivery, transparency, and decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required; a degree in Business, Information Systems, Engineering, Operations, or a related field is preferred.
- 8+ years of project management experience, including leadership of complex, cross-functional transformation initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead projects, create structure in ambiguous situations, and drive execution with limited supervision.
- Experience with project governance, delivery lifecycle management, milestone reviews, change control, executive reporting, and standardized project artifacts.
- PMP certification or an equivalent project management credential is preferred.
- Proficiency with Smartsheet, Microsoft 365, or comparable project management and collaboration tools is preferred.
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, influence, conflict-resolution, and executive communication skills.
- High ownership and initiative, with the ability to diagnose challenges, determine a path forward, and act without waiting for detailed instructions.
- Familiarity with business transformation, ERP or enterprise systems, process optimization, operating model design, systems integration, or change management initiatives.
- Experience supporting organizational adoption, communications, training readiness, value realization, and transitions to steady-state operations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining transparency around risks, decisions, dependencies, and delivery status.
- Applicants must already possess authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- Salary range of $139,200-$174,000 USD, with actual compensation varying based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
