Accountabilities:
As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust software solutions while contributing to system architecture, performance optimization, and technical excellence. You will collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable platforms.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain applications, subsystems, enhancements, and system improvements using Python.
- Build innovative technology solutions focused on scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to complete deployment and integration activities successfully.
- Support production issue resolution by working closely with client support and technical teams.
- Identify opportunities to improve platform performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Recommend improvements to project designs, technical approaches, and development practices.
- Create technical specifications, installation documentation, and system-related materials.
- Evaluate system architecture for stability, interoperability, portability, security, and scalability.
- Define effective design solutions and ensure compatibility between system components.
- Provide technical guidance and support throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Analyze emerging technologies and recommend solutions based on technical and business considerations.
- Identify required software, hardware, and data components to meet business and user needs.
- Implement solutions following industry standards, reusable patterns, and established architecture practices.
- Communicate architectural solutions and technical decisions to engineers, stakeholders, and leadership teams.
- Ensure compliance with development standards, design patterns, policies, and best practices.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced Python developer with strong software engineering expertise, architectural knowledge, and the ability to deliver complex technical solutions. You should have strong problem-solving skills, experience with cloud technologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively in distributed teams.
- 6-10 years of experience in software development with strong Python expertise.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and development best practices.
- Experience building scalable, secure, and reliable technology solutions.
- Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate them into effective designs.
- Experience supporting production systems and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
- Knowledge of design patterns, architecture principles, and reusable development approaches.
- Strong understanding of system components, integrations, and application performance optimization.
- Experience collaborating with software engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working with cloud technologies, particularly AWS environments, is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, Kafka, Kinesis, Redshift, Lambda, and Docker is a plus.
- Experience with AWS IaaS and PaaS solutions is beneficial.
- Strong focus on security, scalability, reliability, and continuous improvement.
