Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer based in United States.

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will lead daily QA activities across software products, ensuring reliable functionality, scalability, and alignment with client expectations.

You will design and manage quality processes, coordinate testing efforts, and help establish standards across engineering and QA teams.

The role combines hands-on test automation with analytical problem-solving, defect investigation, and continuous quality improvement.

You will work with modern testing frameworks, API validation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and AI-assisted QA technologies.

The position offers an opportunity to help evolve testing practices by evaluating emerging tools and automation approaches.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, QA, management, and business stakeholders in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

This is a remote opportunity requiring candidates in Brazil to work U.S. Eastern Time hours.

Accountabilities:

    • Develop, implement, and manage QA processes that ensure software products meet required standards for quality, functionality, reliability, and scalability.
    • Establish and communicate quality standards and testing parameters across QA and engineering teams.
    • Coordinate product testing activities, ensuring appropriate coverage and timely resolution of quality issues.
    • Identify, investigate, and analyze recurring bugs, defects, and software issues, recommending and facilitating effective solutions.
    • Review client, customer, and user feedback to identify opportunities for product and quality improvements.
    • Support release management by helping communicate upcoming releases, quality status, and relevant considerations to business stakeholders.
    • Develop and maintain automated end-to-end testing using frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, and Cypress.
    • Perform API and service-layer testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or comparable technologies.
    • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
    • Leverage AI-assisted testing workflows and tools to generate test cases, analyze logs, identify edge cases, improve test coverage, and reduce manual testing effort.
    • Evaluate emerging AI-powered QA platforms and technologies and recommend approaches that improve testing efficiency and feedback cycles.
    • Validate AI-generated code and test outputs through structured QA strategies while applying responsible AI practices and recognizing model limitations.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
      • At least 4 years of relevant experience in QA, software testing, and test automation.
      • Experience working with business software systems and user management.
      • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, testing tools, processes, and quality assurance practices.
      • Hands-on experience with automated browser testing frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress.
      • Working knowledge of API testing and validation using Postman, REST Assured, or comparable frameworks.
      • Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD environments and familiarity with tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
      • Familiarity with AI-assisted testing workflows, including using LLMs to generate test cases, analyze logs, uncover edge cases, and support QA activities.
      • Exposure to AI-powered QA platforms such as Testim, Mabl, or Functionize is advantageous.
      • Ability to evaluate emerging AI tools and determine where they can improve coverage, efficiency, and testing workflows.
      • Understanding of prompt-engineering fundamentals, responsible AI usage, and the limitations of AI-generated outputs.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate complex and recurring issues.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
      • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, combined with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
      • Ingenuity, adaptability, and enthusiasm for learning new technologies, techniques, and testing approaches.
      • Candidates must be located in Brazil and willing to work U.S. Eastern Time hours.
      • Resume/CV should be submitted in English.
      • Benefits:

        • Remote work opportunity.
        • International, technology-focused working environment.
        • Opportunity to work at the intersection of healthcare technology, software quality, automation, and artificial intelligence.
        • Exposure to modern QA automation frameworks, CI/CD practices, API testing, and AI-powered testing tools.
        • Opportunity to contribute to the evolution of QA processes and emerging testing methodologies.
        • Collaborative environment with engineering, QA, management, and business stakeholders.
        • Professional growth through continuous learning and exposure to new technologies.
