Senior Salesforce Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer based in India.

This is a highly hands-on senior engineering role responsible for the development and evolution of a Salesforce environment that supports critical business operations. You will own platform engineering across Apex, Lightning Web Components, integrations, data architecture, and release management. You’ll build scalable solutions supporting intake, case management, reporting, and marketing-attribution workflows. The role offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Operations, Data, Administration, and business leadership. You’ll work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment where reliability, performance, and operational discipline are highly valued. Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex classes, triggers, and asynchronous processing, including Batch, Queueable, and Schedulable jobs.
• Implement maintainable trigger frameworks and follow a single-trigger-per-object architecture while ensuring strong test coverage and meaningful assertions.
• Build and maintain custom Lightning Web Components for intake, case management, reporting, and operational workflows, while modernizing legacy Visualforce and Aura components where appropriate.
• Develop and maintain inbound and outbound REST API integrations, including OAuth 2.0 authentication using Connected Apps, Named Credentials, and Auth Providers.
• Integrate Salesforce with external platforms and services, including lead-intake applications, BigQuery, Meta Ads, Google Ads, Ringba, Five9, HubSpot, Lob, and other third-party systems.
• Build and maintain Platform Events and Change Data Capture pipelines to support reliable data exchange and integration workflows.
• Design performant SOQL and SOSL queries with strong awareness of governor limits, platform constraints, and Salesforce multi-tenant architecture.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators on object models, schema design, data architecture, and decisions around configuration versus custom development.
• Manage source-driven Salesforce development using SFDX projects, Git, unlocked packages, or second-generation packages where appropriate.
• Support structured code reviews, sandbox refreshes, data seeding, and deployments through tools such as SFDX CLI, Gearset, Copado, Change Sets, or equivalent solutions.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues involving governor limits, CPU time, performance, integrations, and platform reliability.
• Document solutions, participate in thorough code reviews, and proactively identify technical risks before they affect users.

Requirements:

• 6-7 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience in a professional environment.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (PD1) and Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM-201) certifications are required.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (PD2) is strongly preferred.
• Expert-level Apex development expertise, including trigger frameworks, asynchronous processing patterns, and fflib or equivalent frameworks.
• Strong Lightning Web Components experience, including JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Jest testing.
• Advanced knowledge of SOQL, SOSL, governor limits, asynchronous processing, and Salesforce platform architecture.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce multi-tenant architecture, scalability, security, and platform best practices.
• Demonstrated experience integrating Salesforce with at least 3-5 external systems through REST APIs.
• Familiarity with SFDX CLI, VS Code, Git, and CI/CD-oriented Salesforce development and deployment workflows.
• Experience with deployment platforms such as Gearset, Copado, or AutoRabit is an advantage.
• Experience with unlocked packages and 2GP architecture is preferred.
• Familiarity with marketing attribution concepts, including UTM tracking, gclid/fbclid handling, and advertising platform APIs is a plus.
• Experience with tools and platforms such as BigQuery, HubSpot, Lob, Five9, Ringba, Meta Marketing API, or Google Ads API is advantageous.
• Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification is a plus.
• Experience in legal, insurance, financial services, or marketing-intensive environments is preferred.
• Pragmatic and solutions-oriented mindset, with the judgment to choose standard Salesforce configuration when it is more appropriate than custom development.
• Strong ownership mentality, proactive problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts, Apex behavior, and architectural trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented approach with a strong commitment to testing, documentation, code quality, and reliable delivery.
