ServiceNow Solution Architect- ITSM +Integrations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a ServiceNow Solution Architect - ITSM + Integrations based in India.

This is a senior technical leadership opportunity for an experienced ServiceNow professional with deep expertise across ITSM, Service Catalog, and integrations. You will architect and deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions that address complex enterprise requirements and improve customer outcomes. The role combines hands-on platform development with solution architecture, technical leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with end users, IT teams, technical specialists, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions. You will also guide engineering teams, uphold development standards, and support complex implementations from design through production. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and focused on continuous learning and innovation across the ServiceNow ecosystem.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the architecture, configuration, customization, and development of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, Service Catalog, custom applications, and integrations.
• Engage with end users, IT teams, and key stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Design and implement ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer solutions, Business Rules, scripting, UI configurations, work orders, transfer orders, inventory processes, and technician-location capabilities.
• Design and manage integrations between ServiceNow and external platforms using REST, SOAP, Mid Servers, cloud-to-cloud connectivity, and other integration technologies.
• Develop and maintain bi-directional and automated integrations, including solutions leveraging JDBC, ODBC, ETL, and data extraction technologies.
• Provide technical leadership to project teams, conduct peer reviews, mentor engineers, and establish consistent development practices.
• Create technical designs, user documentation, operational documentation, and standard operating procedures to support sustainable platform operations.
• Support service mapping, impact assessment rules, event management activities, and user acceptance testing in collaboration with technical SMEs and stakeholders.
• Manage update sets and data movement across applicable ServiceNow environments while maintaining platform integrity and consistency.
• Investigate and remediate production incidents related to the assigned ServiceNow scope, proactively identifying opportunities to reduce operational risk and technical inefficiencies.
• Collaborate with existing technical leads to ensure architecture and implementation decisions follow shared patterns and do not disrupt established solutions.
• Stay current with ServiceNow capabilities, certifications, and emerging platform practices, applying new knowledge to customer solutions and team development.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience supporting the implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development of ServiceNow, with strong expertise in ITSM, Service Catalog, and integrations.
• Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems and platforms through Mid Servers, cloud-to-cloud integrations, and other integration architectures.
• Strong knowledge of REST and SOAP web services, including bi-directional and automated system integrations.
• Experience with data extraction and integration technologies such as JDBC, ODBC, and ETL.
• Strong ServiceNow scripting knowledge, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, Scripted REST APIs, and UI Builder.
• Ability to develop technical design documents, user documentation, and clear implementation specifications.
• Strong understanding of platform architecture and the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical ServiceNow solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate technical teams while supporting effective resource allocation and delivery.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills, with a structured and detail-oriented approach to technical work.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can evolve and technical challenges require adaptability.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Willingness to continue developing expertise through ServiceNow certifications, competency programs, and module accreditations.
• ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) certifications are preferred.
