Social Media Content Creator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Social Media Content Creator based in the United States.

This is a creative, hands-on opportunity for a social media storyteller who understands what makes short-form video feel authentic and engaging.

You’ll create TikTok-first content that brings karaoke products to life through relatable, entertaining, and culturally relevant moments.

The role is focused on Gen Z audiences and calls for a natural understanding of platform behavior, trends, humor, and community-driven content.

You’ll have freedom to develop concepts that position karaoke as a fun social experience for friends, gatherings, and everyday moments.

Content should feel spontaneous and genuine rather than overly produced or traditionally promotional.

You’ll work primarily with an iPhone, experimenting with formats such as candid videos, street interviews, and trend-based content.

This role is ideal for a creative self-starter who enjoys being on camera, spotting trends early, and turning simple ideas into content people want to watch and share.

Accountabilities:

• Create and film approximately 10 TikTok videos per month, featuring karaoke products in entertaining, relatable, and engaging scenarios.
• Develop original content concepts that present karaoke as a fun activity for friends, social gatherings, and a broad range of audiences.
• Produce primarily iPhone-shot content using natural, spontaneous, and platform-native filming techniques.
• Experiment with authentic formats such as street interviews, candid interactions, lifestyle moments, and trend-inspired videos.
• Monitor TikTok trends, formats, sounds, conversations, and audience behaviors to identify opportunities for timely content.
• Incorporate relevant trends naturally into the content strategy while maintaining an authentic voice and connection with the audience.
• Create product-focused storytelling that feels entertaining and relatable rather than overly polished or sales-driven.
• Continuously explore new creative approaches to increase engagement, reach, and relevance on TikTok.
• Maintain a consistent publishing cadence of approximately 2-3 videos per week.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience creating video content for TikTok or similar short-form social platforms is preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of TikTok culture, trends, formats, and what drives engagement with Gen Z audiences.
• Ability to create authentic, natural, and spontaneous content without making product promotion feel overly scripted or sales-oriented.
• Strong storytelling and creative ideation skills, with the ability to turn everyday scenarios into compelling short-form content.
• Comfortable filming content primarily with an iPhone and working with a lightweight, fast-moving production approach.
• Ability to connect with diverse audiences through relatable humor, personality, and culturally relevant storytelling.
• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to develop ideas independently and execute them consistently.
• Portfolio of previous social media or video work is strongly encouraged, including examples of your strongest-performing or most relevant content.
• Relevant social media handles and video links should be available to demonstrate your creative style and platform experience.
• Must be based in the United States.
