Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Surveillance Support Specialist based in the United States.

This role supports end-to-end surveillance operations within a fast-paced legal investigations environment.

You will help field investigators prepare for assignments by conducting detailed desktop research and organizing critical case information.

Your work will contribute directly to the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of investigative deliverables provided to legal and corporate clients.

You will review surveillance footage and case materials, identify relevant findings, and transform investigative activity into clear professional reports.

The position requires close collaboration with investigators and internal teams to keep assignments moving efficiently and resolve issues quickly.

You will manage multiple cases while maintaining a high level of confidentiality, organization, and attention to detail.

This is an excellent opportunity for an investigative professional who is tech-savvy, analytical, and motivated by meaningful client-focused work

Accountabilities:

    • Conduct preliminary desktop investigations and detailed case research to prepare comprehensive files for field surveillance investigators.
    • Review surveillance video, investigative materials, and case documentation for accuracy, consistency, completeness, and overall quality.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case information throughout the assignment lifecycle.
    • Monitor the progression of surveillance assignments, identify missing information or potential issues, and coordinate appropriate follow-up.
    • Collaborate closely with field investigators and internal team members to support effective case execution and high-quality deliverables.
    • Help ensure surveillance assignments progress according to established timelines and client expectations.
    • Manage multiple investigations and competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and consistent work quality.
    • Handle sensitive investigative information responsibly and maintain appropriate confidentiality throughout all case activities.
    • Requirements

      • At least 2 years of directly relevant investigative, surveillance, or surveillance-support experience; alternatively, a bachelor's degree in criminal justice or a related discipline combined with relevant professional experience.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with attorneys, legal professionals, investigators, clients, and internal stakeholders.
      • Experience using investigative case management platforms; experience with TrackOps is strongly preferred.
      • Strong investigative research, analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
      • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning and using digital tools, case management systems, and investigative technologies.
      • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies, missing information, and quality issues in case materials.
      • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with investigators and cross-functional teams.
      • Strong time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases, deadlines, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
      • Professional, dependable, and client-focused approach to investigative support.
      • Availability to work during Pacific Time (PST) business hours.
      • Benefits

        • Hourly compensation of $22-$28 per hour, with placement within the range based on relevant qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
        • Opportunity to contribute to meaningful investigative work supporting legal, corporate, insurance, and government clients.
        • Collaborative environment working alongside experienced investigators and legal-services professionals.
        • Opportunity to develop investigative research, surveillance review, case management, and reporting expertise.
        • Exposure to a broad range of legal investigations and surveillance assignments.
        • Potential for professional growth within a nationwide legal-services environment.
