This role offers an opportunity to teach English to young learners in China through engaging, high-quality online lessons.

You will build meaningful relationships with students through consistent, long-term teacher-student pairings.

Accountabilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective online English lessons to young learners, creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with assigned students by understanding their strengths, weaknesses, learning styles, and interests.
• Maintain a consistent, fixed teaching schedule throughout the contract to provide continuity for students and predictable working hours.
• Adapt teaching approaches to support students’ English development, progress, confidence, and long-term learning outcomes.
• Provide a warm, caring, and judgment-free classroom environment that encourages students to develop a lasting interest in English.
• Collaborate closely with the teaching support team, using feedback and guidance to address student-related topics and continuously improve teaching effectiveness.
• Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, responsibility, and genuine commitment to students throughout the teaching engagement.

Requirements:

• Native or near-native English pronunciation with strong spoken communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification.
• TEFL, TESOL, CETL, or an equivalent teaching certification.
• Previous experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL/TESL) is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect effectively with young learners.
• A responsible, dependable, and passionate approach to teaching and student development.
• High-speed internet connection suitable for reliable online teaching.
• Access to a high-definition camera and microphone for delivering quality virtual lessons.
• Availability to maintain a stable, fixed teaching schedule throughout the contract.
• Willingness to commit to a long-term teaching engagement of at least one year.
