Jobgether is a Belgian recruitment platform built entirely around remote and flexible work, aggregating openings from thousands of employers that allow work from outside an office. Its matching engine ranks roles against a candidate's skills, seniority and stated preferences on location and flexibility, rather than leaving people to filter a keyword search, and it verifies how genuinely remote each posting is. The company also runs an AI screening layer that shortlists applicants for employers, and publishes research and guidance on distributed work practices alongside the job marketplace itself.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Team Lead - E-Discovery (Data Breach Reviews) based in the United States.

This role offers an opportunity to lead legal review teams supporting complex U.S. data breach and cyber incident response matters.

You will oversee attorneys conducting cyber data mining, document review, and sensitive-data identification across multiple high-volume projects.

As a team lead, you will be responsible for coordinating daily workflows, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring deadlines are consistently met.

You will work in a fast-paced legal-services environment where confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance are critical.

The position combines people leadership with hands-on knowledge of e-discovery, data breach review, and privacy-related requirements.

You will monitor project metrics, identify operational risks, coach team members, and recommend improvements to review processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a legally qualified professional with strong organizational and leadership skills to make a direct impact on high-stakes cyber response engagements.

Accountabilities:

    • Supervise attorneys performing cyber data mining, e-discovery, and sensitive-data review activities for U.S. data breach matters.
    • Assign work, establish daily priorities, manage workloads, and monitor productivity against project deadlines.
    • Conduct quality-control reviews to ensure work meets established protocols, accuracy standards, and client requirements.
    • Train, coach, and support team members while providing clear and timely performance feedback.
    • Track project performance, including capacity, productivity, quality, volumes, and progress against deadlines.
    • Identify workflow challenges and operational risks, escalate issues appropriately, and recommend practical process improvements.
    • Lead team meetings and communicate project status, priorities, risks, and resource requirements to managers and other stakeholders.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling PII, PHI, and other sensitive or regulated information.
    • Ensure review activities follow applicable data-security procedures and project protocols.
    • Support multiple concurrent matters and adapt team staffing and priorities in response to changing data volumes and deadlines.
    • Contribute to the efficient delivery of large-scale cyber incident response and data breach review engagements.
    • Requirements

      • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification.
      • At least 1 year of experience in a Team Lead, supervisory, or people-management capacity.
      • Demonstrated experience supporting U.S. data breach notification matters.
      • Hands-on experience with cyber data mining, data breach review, document review, e-discovery, or a comparable legal-services environment.
      • Experience leading teams on large-scale cyber incident response or data breach review projects.
      • Familiarity with Relativity or similar e-discovery and legal review platforms.
      • Working knowledge of PII, PHI, and other categories of sensitive or regulated data.
      • Familiarity with U.S. privacy and data breach notification regulations.
      • Experience managing remote legal review teams and distributed workflows.
      • Strong analytical, organizational, and quality-control skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
      • Ability to manage multiple high-volume projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting demanding deadlines.
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide direction, coaching, and constructive feedback.
      • Ability to remain adaptable and composed in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and project volumes.
      • Benefits

        • Competitive annual salary range of $70,000-$80,000 USD.
        • Opportunity to lead teams supporting complex U.S. cyber incident response and data breach matters.
        • Exposure to large-scale e-discovery, legal review, privacy, and cybersecurity engagements.
        • Leadership and professional development opportunities through hands-on team management.
        • Collaborative environment involving attorneys, managers, and other legal-services professionals.
        • Opportunity to work across multiple fast-paced projects and develop expertise in data breach response and e-discovery operations.
        • Experience with industry-standard review platforms and modern legal-services workflows.
