essential healthcare to thousands of patients\n\nDeliver consistently on sprints and projects across backend infrastructure\n\nOwn specifications and tickets with self-sufficiency and independence\n\nBalance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results\n\nPartner closely with clinicians, operations experts, and care providers to find new solutions for product and processes\n\nClose gaps in specifications and business logic\n\nEnsure code delivers on the underlying use case\n\nReport directly to the Head of Engineering and extend their capacity across projects\n\nHave a humble, growth-oriented mindset with a desire to consistently improve and outperform\n\nRequired Skills\n\n5+ years of experience building complex backend services for mobile, web, and data services\n\n2+ years of technical leadership experience\n\nAbility to collaborate with the rest of the team and organize your own work\n\nPrevious success building and shipping large-scale web services with a mindset of empathy for the user\n\nUnderstanding of computer science and fundamental concepts of software engineering\n\nProficient in at least one of: Ruby on Rails, PHP, JavaScript, or other server-side language\n\nLocation & Work Format: Must be currently located in the United States with full authorization to work on a W2 employment basis full-time in the office.\n\nLanguage: Professional working proficiency in English (both spoken and written).\n\nPreferred Skills\n\nExperience working in health tech or at an early-stage startup\n\nGraphQL and REST
