Currently around 50 members of staff, the Company is now entering a phase of growing and scaling.\nThe role spans cross the full spectrum of Legal: commercial & employment agreements, corporate governance, data protection, new markets and regulatory matters for various jurisdictions.\nRole & Responsibilities\nTake ownership and a Team Lead function for the Legal Team\n\nDraft, review and negotiate various commercial agreements\n\nProvide clear and practical legal advice to management on all legal matters, including corporate governance, board matters, company structures and internal policies\n\nSupport partnerships, investments, corporate transactions and the legal aspects of entering new markets\n\nAdvise on jurisdictional regulatory requirements (the company holds several licenses)\n\nWork closely with the Head of Compliance, providing the legal perspective on AML, RG and other relevant queries\n\nTake ownership of data protection and GDPR matters\n\nManage intellectual property matters across our brands, domains and commercial agreements\n\nEducation, Skills & Experience\nBusiness Lawyer with a law degree from Sweden or Finland\n\nStrong experience of working within iGaming, with a practical experience of working with the SGA and other European jurisdictions\n\nYou’re a native Swedish or Finnish speaker\n\nExperience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements\n\nCommercially minded\n\nWork and personal ethics beyond reproach\n\nComfortable working closely with and guiding the management team\n\nHands-on and able to deliver on time, with top marks for accuracy\n\nAbout this role\nSalary around the €100K mark (negotiable) + bonus\n\nBased in Sliema, Malta (not negotiable)\n\nAble to travel between Sliema & Stockholm frequently\n\nOffice-first, hybrid flexibility\n\nWellness allowance and private health care\n\nRegular social events and team activities\n\nKindly apply with your detailed CV in English.\n*JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
