In this role, you will assist with the preparation of financial statements, maintain accurate records, and support client audits and compliance processes.\nThis hybrid role offers a salary of up to €30K.\nRole & Responsibilities\nOversee daily bookkeeping activities to ensure accuracy and completeness\n\nMaintain company accounting records and prepare regular management reports\n\nPrepare and submit documentation required for statutory and regulatory compliance\n\nProcess necessary system entries prior to the preparation of management accounts\n\nPrepare monthly management accounts with a high level of accuracy\n\nProduce regular financial reports and support the budgeting process\n\nLiaise with external auditors to ensure compliance with relevant regulations\n\nPrepare and submit VAT returns in a timely manner\n\nPresent and explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders\n\nEducation, Skills & Experience\nCurrently studying or working towards an accounting qualification such as ACCA\n\n1+ years working experience in a similar role in Malta - non-negotiable\n\nFluent in English, both written and spoken\n\nKnowledge of another language is considered an asset\n\nStrong MS365 skills, particularly Excel and Word\n\nExperience with accounting software is considered an advantage\n\nStrong communication and active listening skills\n\nExcellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail\n\nProactive mindset with the ability to think outside the box\n\nStrong time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively\n\nTeam player with the ability to collaborate across different departments\n\nAbout the role\nSalary of up to €30K\n\nMostly working from company office.
