You'll take ownership of brand-building delivery and client communication, freeing the founders from day-to-day coordination so they can focus on the wider business.\nWe're looking for an Operations Manager who can own brand-building operations, keep two connected pipelines moving, and make sure clients always know what's happening.\nYou understand Amazon and can coordinate sourcing, supply chain, catalogue, design and PPC. You don't need to have launched products yourself: the founders can teach the product side. The product lead provides product ideas; specialists own advertising, copy and growth strategy. You bring organisation, drive and follow-through.\nIn this role, you will:\nRun the new product pipeline: move ideas through sourcing and quotes, prioritise with supply chain, and ask the product lead for more ideas when needed\nRun the client launch pipeline: coordinate each step from product selection to launch, with clear owners, deadlines and follow-ups\nStart with a daily 30-minute pulse check: review launch blockers, outstanding quotes, enough product ideas, and client/team Slack updates\nWork with supply chain to keep orders, stock and logistics on track, and build forecasts from real sales data as it becomes available\nClear blockers promptly, chase outstanding quotes, and help the team prioritise what needs to move next\nCoordinate catalogue, design and PPC specialists so their work is ready on time and nothing gets missed\nOwn the brand-building client journey, managing expectations and following up quickly on decisions and outstanding actions\nSpend around half your time on client communication, including clear updates at least twice a week for active sourcing-phase clients\nKeep trackers and regular reporting current; flag refund, stock or sales issues early, with a plan to address them\nImprove the systems you run through clearer SOPs, better ClickUp workflows, and AI or automation where it helps\nRun the weekly ops meeting and give the founders a concise report on progress, risks and next steps\nGrow into wider business and agency operations, with the opportunity to build a team of one or two people\nThis is a full-time role working within UK/Western European time zone (GMT/BST), with core overlap with the founders who are based in Lisbon. Some flexibility is expected for early-morning supplier comms with China and afternoon/evening client comms with Europe and US clients.\nRequirements\nTo be successful in this role, you need:\nA mover. Hyper-organised, hyper-focused, high-energy. Your default is to check ‘what’s happening with X? where are my gaps right now?’ on your own rhythm, without being prompted.\nClient-management maturity. You've held clients through difficult conversations - delays, cost overruns, bad news, scope arguments. You reset expectations without becoming defensive, deliver bad news professionally, and keep clients engaged when things aren't going their way.\n People-management reflex. You hold team members accountable without drama. You run meetings that produce decisions. You lead specialists through clear briefs and consistent follow-up - not just coordination.\nStrong AI fluency: you use AI tools confidently to improve workflows and work faster, while applying your own thinking and checking the output.\n7+ years operations leadership in e-commerce, Amazon, or supply-chain-heavy business (you've run a function, not just executed in one)\nAn understanding of Amazon, catalogue/listing workflows and the product-to-launch process; personally launching Amazon products is not required\nExcellent organisation and follow-through: you keep trackers current, spot gaps and make sure every action has an owner and a deadline\nExcellent written English (native or near-native - client-facing communication is a core part of this role)\nSystems thinker (you design and implement processes with discipline and are comfortable owning ClickUp, Notion, or Airtable as a daily operating tool)\nStrong prioritisation: you can manage multiple projects, follow up promptly and keep work moving in a fast-paced business\nStrong cross-team coordination: you hold people accountable, clarify responsibilities and work well with specialists\nSelf-directed (you diagnose problems and act - you don't wait to be told what to do)\nBased in or overlapping with EU time zone (Western or Eastern Europe strongly preferred, UK working hours)\nBrownie points for:\n⭐ Direct Amazon FBA private label launch experience (your own brand or as an agency operator)\n⭐ Commercial awareness: comfortable reading client contracts and revenue-share terms, able to flag when a scope change becomes a commercial issue.\n⭐ Experience managing offshore teams (Philippines, India, Pakistan, Eastern Europe)\n⭐ Experience working at a bootstrapped business or as a COO-of-one at a small company\n⭐ Supply chain experience, including supplier negotiation, securing better deals, sourcing in China, freight or FBA logistics\n⭐ Familiarity with Xero, Sellerboard, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or similar Amazon-specific tooling\n⭐ Background that includes running both client-facing and internal operations functions\nWe’re looking for someone who gets things done and follows through. You take ownership, check for gaps without being asked, write plans down and keep work moving. Speed and sound judgement matter more than perfection.\nYou stay calm under pressure and handle launch delays or client challenges without becoming defensive or flustered.\nAttention to detail matters: you notice when numbers don’t add up, listings have mistakes, or processes aren’t working properly.\nCommunication should be clear and structured - responses are concise, complete, and always move things forward with a clear next step.\nIn your first 30 days, you'll take over the workflow, keep clients updated, move products forward and flag problems with a plan. Near month end, you'll write a one-page plan for the next four weeks.\nBy 60 days, you'll be improving the systems you run, whether that means tightening the pipeline, adding an SOP, improving ClickUp or introducing a useful AI tool.\nBy 90 days, you'll own operations and client communication across around 12 brands in our brand-building programme. You'll raise issues early, establish regular reporting and begin forecasting from sales data, with the founders no longer needed for day-to-day coordination.\nThis role probably isn’t right if you:\nExplain slowness as being “considered” or “thorough”. This role rewards speed with calibration, not deliberation.\nDeliver plans verbally when writing was asked for.\nLean on AI to produce thinking you haven’t done yourself.\nTreat tracker fields and structured data as optional admin.\nCome from a large corporate ops environment where decisions moved slowly.\nLook for a role with heavy structure already in place. You’ll be building it.\nBenefits\nWhat’s in it for you?\nStarting base: $4,000/month, with on-track earnings of $6,000+/month once performance bonuses kick in\nTarget total compensation: $7,000-$8,000+/month within 12 months. Base reviewed every 6 months. Performance bonuses tied to successful Brand Builder launches and operational outcomes (specifics defined at offer stage).\nClear path to Operations Director within 12 months, with potential path to COO beyond that for the right person - with base increases to match.\nLong-term upside opportunity tied to portfolio brand growth for the right candidate.\nFull time & fully remote (anywhere within EU time zone overlap)\nUnlimited paid time off, with a minimum expectation of 2-3 weeks per year (take more if outcomes are being delivered - we manage on outcomes, not hours)\nLong-term upside opportunity for the right candidate, tied to portfolio brand growth\nPaid sick leave\nFlexible hours within agreed core overlap with the team\nEquipment provided as needed (if you need something specific to do the job well, we'll discuss it)\nLearning and development on the job (if you want to take an external course or program that's relevant to the role, we're happy to discuss covering it)\n*Please note that this is a gross salary and that you are responsible for any tax-related procedures in your country of residence. We kindly ask you to apply only if you are happy to work remotely as an independent contractor.\nThis is our typical hiring process - occasionally, it may include extra steps.\nFor this role, JobRack is partnering with the company to find their next hire.
