Fuel the exceptional.\nThe department is responsible for maintaining site operations and developing the site infrastructure across the EMC. The department covers a wide range of responsibilities from managing the provision of utility services and management of key service providers on site as well as the day to day maintenance and safe operation of the site and facilities.\nWHAT TO EXPECT\nIn this role, no two tasks are the same. With lots of projects and relationships to build with people across the business and beyond, it’s a challenge that will help your career grow within an iconic organisation. Here’s what to expect:\nManage and audit facility maintenance standards, SOPs and SLAs to ensure compliance and operational performance. \nCoordinate contractors and service providers to achieve facilities, environmental and testing deliverables across the site. \nSupport and maintain SAP/IESA processes, including maintenance compliance, work orders, approvals and asset management. \nOversee building handovers, defect reporting, snagging activities and compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation. \nDevelop site procedures, manage spare parts inventories and identify opportunities for cost and efficiency improvements. \nEnsure statutory compliance for lifting equipment, pressure vessels, LOLER, PUWER, insurance inspections and NDT assessments. \nSupport manufacturing operations by maximising equipment uptime, managing maintenance programmes and securing cost-effective repair and service solutions.\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED\nAlong with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:\nExperience of working in a busy maintenance/technical role, in a high volume fast paced production situation and be able to demonstrate on how to deal with the changing business needs and priorities whilst maintaining focus on the roles requirements at all times.\nWill have strong leadership skills with the ability to influence at all levels within the business and the customer supply base.\nEvidence of managing and leveraging maximum support from the wider team to achieve objectives.\nMust have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and can demonstrate effective problem management.\nHave a high level of drive,self-motivation and able to deliver with minimum supervision.\nPrevious team organisation and management experience is essential.\nBENEFITS\nThis role is rewarding in more ways than one.
