We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Business Developer Pharmaceuticals to join our dynamic team in Mumbai, India. In this pivotal role, you will drive growth and expand our pharmaceutical business through strategic partnerships and market opportunities.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector, leveraging market insights and industry trends
- Develop and implement visionary business plans aligned with company goals and objectives
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify potential partners and customers
- Negotiate and close high-value deals with pharmaceutical companies and healthcare organizations
- Manage and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the industry, fostering long-term partnerships
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of innovative business initiatives
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic business decisions
- Prepare and present detailed business proposals and analytical reports to senior management
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, enhancing our market presence
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical product portfolio and pipeline
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Pharmacy, or related field; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development
- Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing partnerships and deals in the pharmaceutical industry
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, drug development processes, and regulatory landscape
- Excellent knowledge of healthcare systems and policies in India
- Proficiency in business development strategies and market analysis techniques
- Advanced negotiation and project management skills
- Experience with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
- Analytical mindset with a results-oriented approach
- Ability to travel as required for business meetings and industry events
- In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical product lifecycles
- Familiarity with global pharmaceutical market trends
- Understanding of intellectual property rights in the pharmaceutical industry
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment
- Strong customer focus and ability to build lasting relationships with stakeholders
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
