be my core responsibilities?\nAs our Contracts Manager you will be responsible for managing the UWE contract on a day to day basis ensuring we meet the clients expectations in all aspects.\nAct as the primary point of contact for the client, attending regular strategy and performance review meetings to address concerns and identify service gaps.\nSupervise the delivery of Hard Services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, building fabric) on a planned, reactive and quoted works basis.\nManage the account budget, including accurate P&L and cost control.\nMonitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to ensure contractual compliance.\nEnsure all sites meet all statutory, policy, and health and safety (H&S) requirements, manage audits and risk assessments.\nLead, coach, and develop onsite service engineers and manage third-party sub-contractors.\nOversee minor works and refurbishments and, where required, propose technological innovations (e.g., energy efficiency tools) to improve building performance. \nUtilise your technical understanding to solve complex problems and provide a clear way forward for the engineering teams on site.\nDrive engineering productivity and efficiencies to enhance the quality and speed of service to the client.\nProvide weekly reports detailing performance against KPI’s and highlighting areas of concern and common issues.\nContinually seek out opportunities for increased scope of works and prepare proposals for managing those work streams.\nProvide support on an on call basis and act as the escalation point for serious incidents. \nWhat do I need to be successful in this role?\n5+ years experience in Facilities Management with a focus on Hard Services for high quality and innovative buildings.\nEngineering, mechanical or electrical qualification.\nIOSH or NEBOSH qualified is desirable.\nProven leadership experience in managing teams across multiple locations.\nA commercially driven approach to account management.\nProven ability in building a successful contract and managing client expectations. \nHighly organised approach, able to juggle multiple priorities effectively. \nStrong problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.\nEffective communicator at all levels.\nHighly proficient in the use of Microsoft suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint\nWe
