Job Purpose
The main purpose of the Site Engineer is to oversee and manage construction projects, coordinate with various stakeholders such as contractors and architects, and ensure the projects are completed on time, within budget, and maintain the required quality standards. The role requires a robust working knowledge of construction processes, ability to solve problems, communicate effectively, use construction software and tools proficiently and manage project effectively.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Overseeing construction projects from inception to completion
- Managing all aspects of construction projects, including time, cost, and quality
- Ensuring projects are completed within the set timeframe and do not exceed the allocated budget
- Maintain quality standards across all stages of the project
- Coordinating with various stakeholders such as contractors and architects
- Implementing project plans effectively
- Addressing any issues or delays promptly and adjusting the project timeline accordingly
