This role combines hands-on technical leadership, solution architecture, and stakeholder collaboration, with a strong focus on AEM as a Cloud Service, global digital platforms, and the migration from on-premises AEM to the cloud while ensuring performance, security, and engineering quality.\nResponsibilities\nProvide high quality solutions to meet digital commerce and marketing needs on a cloud-native AEM platform.\n\nTranslate business requirements into technical architecture, content models, component designs, workflows, integration patterns and AEM as a Cloud Service solutions.\n\nLead architecture and solution design across AEM Sites, Assets, Forms and AEM as a Cloud Service.\n\nProvide hands-on technical leadership throughout solution design, development, testing, deployment and production support.\n\nWork with the team to manage the transition from the current on-premises AEM platform to AEM as a Cloud Service, while maintaining the existing platform until migration is complete\n\nHelp determine when to use traditional AEM Sites, headless AEM, hybrid delivery or Adobe Edge Delivery Services / Universal Editor\n\nReview solution designs, pull requests and critical code changes made by others, to ensure alignment with architecture and engineering standards.\n\nAct as a \"solution architect\" facing business stakeholders, working with them to understand which areas of a design can be authored by the authoring team.\n\nPartner with engineering managers and tech leads to ensure architecture decisions are understood and consistently evaluate when new capabilities provide meaningful business value.\n\nEmbrace a shift-left approach to quality through unit, integration and end-to-end test automation.\n\nKey Requirements\n8+ years of hands-on development and architecture experience with Adobe Experience Manager.\n• Extensive experience with AEM as a Cloud Service, including AEM Sites and Assets.\n\nStrong hands-on knowledge of Java, Apache Sling, OSGi, JCR, Oak, Dispatcher and established AEM development practices.\n\nExperience with AEM Cloud Manager, CI/CD pipelines, deployment patterns, code-quality gates and cloud-native AEM architecture\n\nDeep understanding of AEM integration patterns and content-centric application development.\n\nKnowledge of cloud architecture, CDN strategies, caching, application security and web-performance practices — with particular focus on dual infrastructure scenarios (on-prem + cloud) for the duration of the migration.\n\nExperience designing and integrating APIs and enterprise systems with AEM.\n\nStrong communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions to engineering, product and business stakeholders.\n\nDemonstrated ability to provide technical leadership across multiple teams and complex initiatives.\n\nExperience supporting global, multilingual digital platforms, including multi-site setups (current gap area for the client's
