We're looking for a Principal Azure Network Engineer to architect and operationalize a secure, scalable, and highly available Azure networking foundation.\nPosition\nPrincipal Azure Network Engineer\nLocation: Any UST Location\nExperience: 9+ Years\nEmployment Type: Contract to Hire\nKey Responsibilities\nArchitect and implement Azure Landing Zone network architectures, including Hub-Spoke and Virtual WAN topologies.\nDefine network segmentation, subnet structures, IP addressing, routing models, and connectivity standards.\nEstablish Azure networking patterns across Management Groups, Subscriptions, and Virtual Networks.\nImplement, configure, and manage Azure Firewall and related network security controls.\nDevelop secure connectivity standards for internal applications and external services.\nDesign and support hybrid network connectivity and highly available network architectures.\nArchitect secure networking solutions for Azure platform services and enterprise applications.\nCollaborate with Engineering, Cybersecurity, Platform Engineering, and Architecture teams.\nSupport network integration requirements for data and AI workloads.\nConduct network design reviews and provide guidance as part of architecture governance.\nDefine and enforce networking standards, policies, naming conventions, tagging standards, and operational procedures.\nMonitor network health, connectivity, performance, and security posture across Azure environments.\nCreate operational runbooks and SOPs and provide troubleshooting guidance to L1/L2 support teams.\nDrive network automation and infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).\nDeliver sprint objectives with high quality and within agreed timelines.\nRequired Expertise\nMust Have:\nAzure Core Networking\nAzure Firewall\nEnterprise Network Architecture\nAzure Cloud Networking\nNetwork Security & Segmentation\nAzure Technologies\nExperience with:\nAzure Application Security Groups\nAzure DNS\nAzure ExpressRoute\nAzure Firewall\nAzure Private Link\nAzure Traffic Manager\nAzure VPN Gateway\nAzure Virtual Networks\nHub-Spoke / Virtual WAN Networking\nHybrid Connectivity\nInfrastructure as Code (IaC)\nExperience Required\n10+ years of enterprise networking experience\n4+ years of experience designing and supporting Azure cloud networking solutions\nStrong understanding of enterprise-grade network architecture, security, connectivity, and operational practices.\nWhy Join UST?\nJoin a global technology organization working on large-scale cloud initiatives and modern platform architectures.
