This role is ideal for individuals with experience in installation, service, or both - we’re open to candidates who excel in hands-on installs, troubleshooting service work, or a mix of the two.

As a Field Technician, you’ll be working on a variety of customer sites in Southern California, handling systems that protect and support critical infrastructure. Every day brings something different - from new system installs to diagnosing and repairing complex issues in the field.

  • Install, configure, and test low voltage systems, including:Access control, CCTV / IP video surveillance, Intrusion detection, Fire/life safety and related technologies
  • Provide service and troubleshooting support for existing systems, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer issues
  • Perform site surveys and assist in project planning when needed
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including service reports and project updates
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner
  • 2+ years of experience as a field technician in low voltage, security, or electrical systems (installation and/or service)
  • Working knowledge of wiring, electronics, and system integration
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents
  • Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Comfortable working at customer sites, which may include commercial, healthcare, industrial, or government environments
