About the Role
BB Bakery is looking for an energetic, reliable and sales-driven Sales & Supply Representative to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supplying and selling BB Bakery products to customers on an assigned route, building strong relationships with existing customers and actively finding new customers and sales opportunities.
This is not simply a delivery role - we are looking for someone who can sell, market our products and grow their customer base.
This is a performance-driven role, with opportunities for progression for employees who demonstrate strong results, reliability and consistent sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Sales, Supply & Customer Growth
Supply and sell BB Bakery bread and other products to customers on assigned routes.
Actively market and promote BB Bakery products while out on supply.
Work towards agreed sales and revenue targets.
Build strong relationships with existing customers and provide excellent customer service.
Identify and approach new shops, businesses and potential customers.
Look for opportunities to increase orders from existing customers.
Help develop existing routes and identify opportunities for new supply routes.
Gather customer feedback and information about demand and market opportunities.
Revenue, Stock & Controls
Take responsibility for products issued for the supply route.
Maintain accurate records of products supplied, sold and returned.
Follow agreed procedures for customer payments and revenue collection.
Ensure money collected is accurately recorded and handed over in line with bakery procedures.
Support the prompt follow-up and collection of outstanding customer payments.
Accurately account for stock, returns and money at the end of each supply period.
Immediately report any discrepancies or concerns.
Marketing & Business Development
Represent BB Bakery professionally when dealing with customers and the public.
Promote BB Bakery products and help increase awareness of the business.
Identify new areas, shops and businesses where BB Bakery products could be sold.
Share information about customer preferences, competitors and potential opportunities.
Contribute ideas to help increase sales and grow BB Bakery's customer base.
What We Are Looking For
Applicants should:
Have relevant experience in sales, field sales, supply/distribution, route sales or a similar role.
Be confident approaching and selling to new customers.
Have a strong sales and performance mindset.
Be motivated to achieve targets and grow sales.
Have good communication, customer service and relationship-building skills.
Be trustworthy and able to account accurately for products and money.
Be proactive and able to work with limited supervision.
Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Be willing to travel regularly as part of the role.
Have good knowledge of Accra and surrounding areas, or be able to learn new routes quickly.
Salary & Progression
Starting salary: GH₵1,000 per month.
