You will be the sole product designer, working directly with the founders, engineering, and business teams to shape the product experience from the ground up. Discovery and Customer Understanding: \nSpeak with customers regularly to understand their workflows, pain points, and expectations.\nUnderstand how small businesses across Bharat manage collections and identify opportunities to simplify their operations.\nUse customer interviews, feedback, and product data to identify problems worth solving.\nDevelop a deep understanding of the product and advocate for customer needs.\n\nProduct Design and Execution: \nOwn the end-to-end design process, from problem discovery and user journeys to wireframes, prototypes, and final UI.\nDesign simple, intuitive, and accessible experiences for complex financial workflows.\nCollaborate with founders and engineering teams to define product requirements, prioritize features, and deliver solutions.\nOwn design quality end-to-end as the sole product designer, building and evolving the product's design language as it scales.\nAnalyze product usage and relevant metrics after launch to evaluate feature effectiveness and continuously improve the user experience.\n\nAI-Native Design: \nLeverage AI tools for research, ideation, prototyping, and design exploration.\nUse AI to accelerate the journey from ideas to functional prototypes and continuously improve design workflows.\n\nRequirements: \nWe are looking for candidates with 2+ years of product design experience and a strong portfolio demonstrating their problem-solving process, product thinking, and shipped work.\nStrong design fundamentals: A solid understanding of interaction design, visual hierarchy, information architecture, and usability.\nProduct thinking: You care about why a feature should exist, not just how it looks.\nCustomer empathy: You enjoy speaking to users and understanding their problems firsthand.\nData-driven mindset: You are comfortable using product data to evaluate design decisions and measure outcomes after launch.\nEnd-to-end ownership: You can independently take a problem from
