Job Title: Learning & Development Advisor Reporting to: L&D Manager Location: Hawick About the Role: The purpose of the role is to develop and implement learning and development programmes and initiatives in support of the company’s Learning & Development strategy by building a skilled, capable and engaged workforce by delivering practical learning and development solutions across the business. Working closely with the Learning & Development team, managers, technical experts and employees, the role will support competency development, skills transfer, onboarding and leadership development, helping to protect specialist textile skills while building the capabilities needed for the future. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Hawick. Key Responsibilities Identify learning and skills needs in partnership with managers and employees. Coordinate and deliver practical learning and development activities across the business. Support the development and maintenance of competency standards, skills matrices and training plans. Manage the Modern Apprenticeship program to ensure candidates, assessors and verifiers and informed, engaged and ensure all key milestones are achieved.
