While technical skills are important, your attitude, judgement and willingness to grow will be equally valued.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nAnalyse financial statements, cash flow and supporting information to assess commercial credit applications.\nPrepare and write detailed credit submissions and recommendations.\nEvaluate risk and support sound lending decisions aligned to business objectives and credit policies.\nDevelop an understanding of customers, dealers and industry dynamics.\nMonitor borrower performance and support ongoing portfolio management activities.\nAssist with collections, credit limit reviews and risk mitigation strategies where required.\nBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\nIdentify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.\nContinue developing your commercial judgement and credit expertise through coaching and on-the-job learning.\nWhat We're Looking For\nEssential\nDegree qualified in Accounting/ Finance or related discipline.\nKnowledge of assessing and manually preparing commercial credit applications, credit submissions or credit recommendations.\nStrong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial statements.\nWell-developed written communication skills.\nHigh attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes.\nYou'll thrive in this role if you:\nHave a genuine interest in commercial credit and financial risk.\nTake ownership and pride in your work.\nAre naturally curious and enjoy understanding how businesses operate.\nHave sound judgement and a thoughtful approach to decision-making.\nEnjoy learning and continuously improving your capability.\nBuild positive relationships and work collaboratively with others.\nAre resilient, adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.\nDemonstrate integrity and professionalism in everything you do.\nDesirable\nExposure to commercial lending, banking, equipment finance, agribusiness or financial services.\nExperience working with customers or stakeholders.\nInterest in process improvement, automation or emerging technologies.\nWhy Join John Deere Financial?\nThis is more than a credit role.
