Actual salary depends on factors including but not limited to location, skills, experience, education, and internal peer compensation comparisons.\nYour Responsibilities\nAs a Facilities Coordinator for John Deere Canada ULC located in Grimsby, ON, you will:\nPrioritize and schedule maintenance tasks on new or existing equipment with suppliers, to ensure the smooth operation of the facility \nPerform a range of facilities management activities that optimize day-to-day operations, support internal stakeholders and meet established cost targets for the facility\nCommunicate by preparing routine letters, emails, minutes of meetings and reports for review by senior managers, and prepare proposals for contractors and suppliers\nAnalyze failure modes and implement reliability strategies that improve equipment operation and reduce cost\nWhat Skills You Need\nAll skills below would ideally have 2-3 years of prior experience:\nAbility to plan, organize and track using a range of software, including MS Office and databases\nCommunicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and understanding the needs of the site\nManaging complex and sometimes high quantity work to effectively solve problems\nUnderstanding and creating / modifying technical drawings, including blueprints and equipment design\nTaking action on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency\nLook to optimize current practices with a focus on continuous improvement\nWhat Makes You Stand Out\nExperience in building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and roofing systems\nAbility to create or modify a database with a focus on improving reliability and/or reducing cost\nExperience in SAP - PO creation\nProficient in AutoCAD Architectural design (mainly 2D layout)\nSix sigma yellow belt or higher\nEducation\nPost-secondary education in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in facilities coordination\nIn accordance with the John Deere Accommodation Policy, reasonable accommodation of any of these qualifications may be considered.
