The T2D project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure.\nThe role\nAs a Gantry Crane Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of gantry cranes to support all precast activities. You will work closely with the plant and logistics teams to ensure the timely movement of materials, equipment, and segments, contributing to the smooth progress of the project.\nOperate gantry cranes to lift, move, and position materials, equipment, and precast tunnel segments safely and efficiently.\nConduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance to ensure the crane is in safe working condition.\nFollow lifting plans and adhere to load limits to ensure safe crane operations.\nCollaborate with the TBM and logistics teams to coordinate lifting activities and meet project schedules.\nMonitor and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the supervisor.\nMaintain accurate records of crane operations and lifting activities.\nAdhere to all safety protocols, site procedures, and company policies.\nAssist with other site duties as required to support project progress.\nQualifications\nA valid High-Risk Work License for crane operation.\nMust hold a vaild Bridge & Gantry Ticket\nProven experience operating gantry cranes, preferably on large-scale infrastructure projects.\nStrong understanding of lifting techniques, load limits, and crane safety procedures.\nAbility to read and interpret lifting plans and follow instructions accurately.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nA proactive approach to safety and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.\nFlexibility to work in a shift-based environment, including weekends and nights, as required.\nWe offer\nYour success is reflected in ours, and as an Alliance we are committed to being an employer of choice here in Adelaide.
