In partnership with the South Australian Government, this consortium forms the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance.\nThe Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, will deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway, and contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.\nThe T2D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels - the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km, open to traffic in 2031. The T2D project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure. The T2D Alliance is committed to providing opportunities for local people, Aboriginal workers, apprentices, trainees and job seekers who are long-term unemployed and offers people an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project.\nThe Role\nWe are seeking an experienced Payroll Advisor to support weekly payroll operations of the T2D workforce.\nThis is a great opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, has a strong eye for detail and is confident managing high-volume payroll across a large workforce.\nThe role will initially be based at St Marys, with the potential to transition across several sites. To be successful you will require flexibility and a willingness to work across project locations as required.\nResponsibilities\nProcessing high-volume weekly payroll across a large project workforce\nReviewing and validating timesheet data through Kronos\nEnsuring accurate processing of ordinary hours, overtime, allowances, penalties and leave\nInvestigating and resolving payroll discrepancies and employee queries\nWorking closely with supervisors and Time & Attendance teams to resolve timesheet issues\nEnsuring payroll data is accurately transferred and reconciled\nInterpreting and applying Enterprise Agreements, Awards and company policies\nCompleting payroll reconciliations and payroll checks\nMaintaining accurate employee payroll records\nSupporting payroll reporting and audits\nAssisting with payroll-related projects, system updates and process improvements\nProviding a high level of customer service to employees and project stakeholders\nAbout You\nExperienced Payroll Officer, Payroll Advisor or similar with proven end-to-end payroll experience.\nConfident processing high-volume payroll accurately and efficiently.\nStrong experience with Kronos or similar Time & Attendance systems.\nSound understanding of timesheets, overtime, allowances, penalties and leave.\nExperienced in interpreting and applying Enterprise Agreements and Awards.\nStrong Excel, reconciliation, analytical and problem-solving skills.\nHighly organised with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.\nStrong communicator with a customer-focused approach and the ability to handle confidential information.\nExperience working within construction, infrastructure, resources or other large workforce environments is highly regarded.\nHolds a current driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and Construction White Card, with flexibility to work across project locations.\nWe Offer\nYour success is our success, and as an Alliance, we are committed to being an employer of choice in Adelaide.
