In partnership with the South Australian Government, this consortium forms the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance.\nThe Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, will deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway, and contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.\nThe T2D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels - the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km, open to traffic in 2031. The T2D project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure. The T2D Alliance is committed to providing opportunities for local people, Aboriginal workers, apprentices, trainees and job seekers who are long-term unemployed and offers people an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project.\nThe Role\nAs the Precast Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities across the precast yard and ensuring all works are completed in line with project specifications, quality standards and delivery schedules.\nWorking closely with the Precast Superintendent, Engineers, QA teams, planners and logistics personnel, you will assist in driving operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.\nThis role requires a proactive and solutions-focused leader who is comfortable managing a workforce with a diverse skillset, coordinating multiple work fronts and maintaining production momentum within a fast-paced project environment.\nResponsibilities\nSupervise daily precast production activities across mould preparation, reinforcement installation, concrete pours, curing, stripping and finishing works\nCoordinate and manage production crews, subcontractors and plant operators to ensure safe and efficient operations\nAssist the Precast Superintendent in delivering daily and weekly production programmes\nMonitor productivity, production outputs and labour allocation to meet programme milestones and delivery deadlines\nPromote and maintain a strong safety culture through visible leadership, toolbox talks, pre-start meetings and ongoing site engagement\nIdentify and proactively resolve production issues, bottlenecks and operational challenges\nCoordinate material, equipment and labour requirements to maintain workflow continuity\nMonitor concrete pours, curing processes and handling procedures to ensure product integrity and quality outcomes\nMaintain accurate production records, reports and shift updates\nSupport training, mentoring and development of production personnel\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, efficiency, quality and cost performance\nAbout You\nPrevious experience in a supervisory role within precast concrete production or heavy manufacturing\nStrong understanding of precast manufacturing methodologies and production sequencing\nExperience coordinating large work crews and multiple production activities simultaneously\nSound knowledge of WHS legislation and safe work practices\nStrong communication and stakeholder coordination skills\nProven ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines\nStrong problem-solving and planning capability\nTrade qualification or construction-related background highly regarded\nWe Offer\nYour success is our success, and as an Alliance, we are committed to being an employer of choice in Adelaide.
