We transform communities to make them easier to move around, more connected and better to live in.\nAre you up for the challenge?\nAbout the Project\nThe Linewide Alliance, comprising John Holland, Alstom, RATP Dev, KBR and WSP, are excited to be delivering the transformative Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) East Linewide package.\nWhen SRL opens, the new rail services for passengers will also be delivered by, a venture between RATP Dev and John Holland to operate and maintain the franchise for 15 years from 2035, to be known as TransitLinx.\nThe Alliance will deliver a world-class, service-proven driverless metro system that sets new benchmarks for comfort, safety, and reliability for Melbourne.\nSRL is a transport and urban planning project that will deliver world-class public transport, reduce travel times, and support the delivery of more homes and housing.\nAbout the Role\nManage various aspects of document control, including the receipt, storage, retrieval and circulation of documents, review coordination, external submission and distribution control. The documents may include design and As-built documentation, transmittals, specifications, reports, and correspondence.\nThis position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.\nWhat you will do;\nSupport the establishment and implementation of efficient project-related document control register, database and hard copy filing system.\n­Implement Project Document Management System and processes.\n­Support the establishment of project correspondence system.\n­Ensure document submissions are in accordance and compliant with the project document formats and requirements.\n­Implement workflows and collate, issue, and receive documents in accordance with project requirements for the development, review and approval of design documentation and all other procedures, instructions, product certification and records that are subject to review and approval.\n­Plan and record document flow to and from all necessary parties, including clients, sub-contractors, consultants, and the project office.\n­Record issues and track location of control documents and drawings ­ Issue letters and receipts concerning the documents in circulation.\nEnsure current versions are maintained of all documents subject to revision and ensure current versions of documents are issued to required project parties. ­\nCoordinate storage and archiving of project and organisational records ­ Coach other John Holland employees on the records management systems, procedures and processes. ­\nEnsure the documents are managed in strict confidentiality.­\nPerform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems and procedures.\nWhat we are looking for;\nQualification:\nHigher School Certificate (HSC) or equivalent experience in Business or Administration\nDegree or post-secondary school training or TAFE certificate in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources or other associated disciplines\nExperience:\nDemonstrated construction experience in a lead/senior document controller role on a major project\nExperience in document management systems\nAdvanced computer skills\nPrioritisation skills\nRecords management \nKnowledge of project management systems and processes\nExperience in project environment or equivalent industry\nTeambinder experience\nAs part of the team, you can help us transform lives\nYour success is reflected in ours, so we’re committed to being an employer of choice.
