The T2D Alliance is committed to providing opportunities for local people, Aboriginal workers, apprentices, trainees and job seekers who are long-term unemployed and offers people an incredible opportunity to be a part of an iconic project\nThe Role:\nThe Senior Quality Engineer/Advisor is responsible for ensuring that all construction activities, materials, and deliverables meet the required quality standards, specifications, and statutory regulations. This role oversees site-based quality management systems, provides technical guidance on compliance, and drives continuous improvement in construction processes. Acting as a quality leader within the project team, the Senior Quality Engineer/Advisor ensures that the project is delivered safely, defect-free, and in accordance with client expectations.\nWe are looking for a Senior Quality Enginner with experience in Utilities and Civil Works.\nThe Responsabilities:\nImpleement and monitor the Quality Management System on the project, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and quality control procedures\nOversee defect management processes, ensuring timely rectification and sign-of\nPrepare and maintain quality documentation for client and regulatory approva\nSupport and lead project quality audits, both internal and external\nCollaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to embed quality requirements into planning and delivery.Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and construction procedures.\nEnsure subcontractors and suppliers meet contractual quality obligations.\nAct as a point of contact for the client on quality matters, ensuring issues are addressed proactively.\nProvide regular quality performance reports, dashboards, and compliance documentation to the client and project leadership team\nAbout You:\nTertiary Qualification or Diploma in in Civil Engineering, Science, Building, Construction, Quality Management or Project Management\nProven 8 years' experience in a quality engineering role within the construction industry.\nSound knowledge of quality management systems, standards and tools.\nDemonstrated ability to perform inspections, tests, and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and standards\nSkills in monitoring, reviewing, reporting, auditing management procedures and processes, and continuous improvement on performance and compliance\nExperience supporting quality or compliance functions in a project-based environment.\nFamiliarity with document management systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint) and quality reporting tools.\nExposure to working within an ISO 9001-certified environment or similar.\nSelf-starter with the ability to work unsupervised with a good Can-Do Attitude.\nWe Offer:\nYour success is our success, and as an Alliance, we are committed to being an employer of choice in Adelaide.
