Whether you're starting your finance journey or looking to build on your early experience, this role offers an excellent platform for growth and development\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES\nProvide clerical, accounting, and analytical support for month-end close processes.\nSupport preparation of bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.\nSupport Collection Specialists in maintaining customer call note files.\nAssistance with the auditing of Concur expenses.\nMaintains complete knowledge of and complies with Company and departmental policies, procedures, and standards.\nVirtual cheque deposits via Hopper once applied to customer accounts.\nManage and maintain clerical administrative tasks including voucher entry/support and administrative maintenance.\nMaintain data integrity in vendor maintenance in P21 (Vendor Data Maintenance and ACH/other reconciliation).\nFacilitate and help administer timely customer responses and communication. Send invoices/statements and prepare appropriate forms.\nProactively facilitate cross-functional customer dispute resolution.\nMaintain data integrity in customer maintenance (credit limits/terms/status) and contact maintenance.\nCash receipts deposit & application support as needed (including reconciliation).\nSupport subsidiary clerical and accounting activity/reporting.\nPreparation and filing of sales tax filings.\nAssist Payables department by performing some basic voucher entries\nProvides vacation and absence coverage for members of the Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Accounting teams as required.\nPerforms any other duties, as assigned or required.\nRequirements\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEssential:\nHigh school diploma or GED.\nBasic experience with Microsoft suite (i.e. Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.). \nIntermediate Excel experience required.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills.\nExcellent administrative skills; excellent attention to detail.\nDesirable:\nExperience in finance is an asset.\nApplication Requirement:\nTo help us better understand your interest in finance and attention to detail, please include a brief 3-sentence note with your application explaining one finance or accounting concept you enjoyed learning about and why it interested you.
