It has won Tonys in every producing category as well as numerous other Drama League, Drama Desk and Olivier awards.\nWe are committed to developing an inclusive and supportive culture, where employees have equal opportunity for growth.\n$25.00/hour\nFLSA Status: Non-ExemptSummary\nThe Marketing Associate is a vital member of the Broadway Across America West Coast team, supporting marketing efforts for Seattle, Portland, Fresno, and Orange County. Working with the Marketing Manager, Senior Director of Marketing and PR, our national marketing team, and local presenting and venue partners, the Marketing Associate assists in the tactical implementation of West Coast marketing campaigns for all of our season engagements.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nAssist with executing advertising plans with direction from the Marketing Manager; maintains communication with vendors, press agents, and venue partners\nAssist with requesting season and individual show creative for all markets\nFacilitate material approvals, locally and with individual show press agents, and traffic ads for each show and season campaigns\nAssist with proofing season announcement materials and providing feedback to national designers\nInteract with program publisher to proof and approve all show programs\nDraft social content calendars for individual shows and season campaigns across markets\nMaintain social media accounts for each Broadway Series, including consistent presence over all social media platforms and cross promotions; incorporate National BAA and show content to local social accounts\nFacilitate cast shoutouts, social media takeovers, special artwork requests, opening night and show week content, etc. for each show\nSubmit season and show information to local community calendars\nMaintain brand consistency across all marketing materials\nAttend all events and opening nights\nAttend partner marketing meetings / special committees to represent BAA Marketing Team\nAssist with execution of special events\nCoordinate opening night invitations to press and VIPs\nSupport local publicist with occasional press interviews or events, including escorting talent and overseeing interviews\nLiaise with current grassroots promotional contacts and develop new partnerships for non-media promotional ideas for individual shows\nCompetencies\nTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:\nCooperationEstablishes and maintains effective relationships\nActive listener\nOffers assistance and support to co-workers\nWorks cooperatively in group situations\n\nAdaptabilityAble to work around unexpected changes of circumstance or workload\nModifies a planned course of action based on new circumstances\nChanges communication style to achieve the best results\n\nFunctional CompetenciesProficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and social media management\nAttention to detail, proof-reading, copy-editing skills\nAbility to work on multiple projects at a time with good time management skills to meet deadlines\n\nTeam OrientationFosters team cooperation\nUnderstands team roles and responsibilities\nSupports group problem solving\n\nQualifications aka KSAOs\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, the requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
