Must be a specialist in job classification and be able to assist, under supervision, in other job skills when it is a requisite for job completion. Working with complex blueprints, diagrams, and sketches, and from general verbal and written instructions, according to established operating procedures, performs the following duties while cooperating with all levels within the organization in support of the four Johns Manville core values: People, Passion, Performance, and Protection.\nWhat We Offer:\nWhile the starting rate is $35.33, several increases are given within the first 180 days. We recently went through an expansion and continue to exceed plant goals and objectives\nYour Day-to-Day:\nSupports and promotes safe practices and environmental commitments in alignment with company commitments, policies, and compliance requirements.\nWorks in a professional manner with all employees.\nPlans and lay out work assignments to accomplish them with maximum efficiency.\nPrepares, reads, interprets, and follows basic blueprints, diagrams, and sketches, making all measurements and calculations necessary to complete job.\nPerforms all types of available maintenance and repair work that is essential to efficient operation of the plant.\nMake welds, brazes, cuts, solders, and silver-solders all grades and types of metal from difficult positions and hard-to-reach locations in an efficient and workmanship-like manner.\nFills out work orders, requisitions, inspection reports, time distribution material usage, etc., and performs other clerical duties necessary to maintain proper records relative to the work performed.\nAssists with inspections on machinery and equipment while in operation, diagnosing faulty operation.\nPeriodically inspects and makes necessary adjustments or repairs to plant fire protection system, including alarms and auxiliary devices.\nUses hand and power tools of all kinds, as well as a variety of measuring and testing instruments.\nAdheres to all NFPA 70E requirements including CPR certification (specific only to Electricians).\nWhat You Bring to the Team:\nIndustrial electrician experience, preferred\nElectrical degree or equivalent certification\nKnowledge in PLC and drive configuration\nKnowledge of Ethernet networking\nAbility to effectively communicate verbally and non-verbally with a variety of individuals\nIncumbent must be physically able to perform essential job functions.
