Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus.\nWe are seeking a hands-on Process Engineer who thrives on the manufacturing floor and enjoys working directly with operators, supervisors, maintenance teams, and quality personnel to solve problems and improve performance. This role is focused on delivering measurable improvements in safety, quality, throughput, yield, and cost through data-driven decision making, statistical analysis, and continuous process optimization.\nThis individual will spend significant time in production areas identifying opportunities, validating improvements, and leading initiatives that enhance operational performance.\nKey Performance Objectives\nWithin this role, success will be measured by the ability to:\nImprove process capability, quality performance, and manufacturing efficiency\nReduce scrap, rework, downtime, and process variation.\nIncrease throughput and operational productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards.\nIdentify, implement, and sustain process improvements that deliver measurable business results.\nSupport and improve equipment reliability through collaboration with Maintenance and Operations teams.\nDrive root cause investigations and corrective actions that prevent recurring issues.\nLead manufacturing projects that improve capacity, automation, safety, ergonomics, and operational effectiveness.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nProcess Optimization & Manufacturing Support\nMaintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor to monitor processes, identify opportunities, and quickly resolve production issues.\nAnalyze process performance using statistical methods and manufacturing data to reduce variation and improve consistency.\nDevelop, optimize, and sustain process parameters that achieve production, quality, and cost objectives.\nEstablish and monitor process control strategies to ensure processes remain stable and capable.\nPartner closely with production teams to identify bottlenecks and improve workflow efficiency.\nContinuous Improvement\nLead structured problem-solving activities using methodologies such as DMAIC, 8D, A3, Fishbone Analysis, and Root Cause Analysis.\nMeasure and communicate improvements through KPIs including yield, scrap, OEE, cycle time, uptime, throughput, and cost savings.\nEquipment Reliability & Project Leadership\nCollaborate with Maintenance and Engineering to improve equipment reliability and process stability.\nSupport equipment commissioning, startup, validation, and performance optimization efforts.\nLead capital improvement projects, automation initiatives, tooling improvements, and manufacturing enhancements.\nEnsure process and equipment changes are successfully implemented and sustained.\nQuality & Compliance\nPartner with Quality teams to investigate process-related defects and nonconformances.\nImplement corrective and preventive actions that drive long-term process improvements.\nEnsure manufacturing processes comply with safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.\nDevelop standardized work, process documentation, and operating procedures that support consistency and best practices.\nOther duties maybe assigned \nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemical, or related discipline).\n1-3+ years of Process Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated success improving manufacturing processes through data-driven analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills supported by practical manufacturing experience.\nProven ability to influence operators, supervisors, maintenance personnel, and leadership teams.\nExcellent communication and project management skills.\nPreferred\nExperience in high-volume manufacturing environments.\nLean Manufacturing and Six Sigma training or certification.\nExperience with SAP or ERP systems.\nExperience supporting automated manufacturing processes and production equipment.\nWorking knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks.\nWork Environment\nThis is a highly interactive manufacturing-floor-based position requiring frequent engagement with production personnel and process observation activities.\nCandidates should enjoy spending substantial time in production areas rather than working primarily from an office setting.\nWork environment may include exposure to manufacturing noise, heat, cold, moving equipment, dust, fumes, and extensive walking throughout the facility.\nAbility to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.\nLimited travel (#LI-MA1 #LI-ONSITE #P #D\nPlease Keep in Mind\nIf you do not meet 100% of these requirements, we at JM still want to hear from you.
