We are passionate, we care about people, we perform at a superior level, and we protect others and our environments.\nCompensation\nThe base hourly rate for this position is $26.08.Shift: 12 Hours, 4 days on/4 days off, 4 rotations days/4 rotations nights, rotating at 7:00.\nSummary:\nA Production C Operator assists the team as needed in the safe and efficient operation of the spunbond lines. Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the lift trucks, doffing the winders, wrapping the material, transporting the finished rolls to lag area, and keeping a clean and orderly work area at all times to meet and exceed production goals.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities: Includes the following and other duties as assigned.\nObserve all departmental safety rules, safe job practices, work rules, company policies and quality procedures. \nInform oncoming “C” Operator of job conditions at shift change. \nRefuel the lift truck, inspect the truck, fill out the “Lift Truck Inspection Sheet”, drive the lift trucks safely, take proper care of the lift trucks, and inform the team leader if any problems arise in the area. \nDoff the winders and wrap the rolls. \nTransport and load all materials produced in Spunbond. \nMaintain a clean and orderly work area and to carry out assigned housekeeping duties according to work instructions. \nPerform the following routine duties: \nCut production tubes. \nMake spaghetti boxes. \nMake, monitor, and change edge trim bags. \nRestage supplies \nRemove spaghetti waste from mezzanine \nDispose of spaghetti and web waste. \nBlow down needle room. \nHandle cake waste. \nLace up spin positions on start-ups or merge changes. \nLock out equipment. \nRefuel lift trucks. \nInspect lift trucks. \nRemove and install lift truck attachments. \nClean mezzanine during pack life. \nPerform inventory control system functions. \nPerform housekeeping and TPM activities as assigned. \nShare any other additional duties assigned through the team. \nSupports and promotes safe practices and environmental commitments in alignment with company commitments, policies, and compliance requirements \nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED). \nBasic computer skills. Interface with computers including controls systems, MES, and SAP. \nForklift license preferred. \nOther Skills and Abilities:\nPhysical Skills: \nThe employee must occasionally lift and or move up to 50 pounds.
