We are passionate, we care about people, we perform at a superior level, and we protect others and our environments.\nCompensation\nThe base hourly rate for this position is $23.09.Temp-to- hire (20.50/ hour) first 90 days.\nHours: 6PM-6AM\nSchedule: Must be able to work weekends, OT, and Holiday's\nThe entry level position supports the core team by conducting the following activities: hands stacking product, cutting feet material, sampling product, move materials by hand, use a forklift, empty trash carts, conduct clean-up activities, complete preventative maintenance work tasks, assist with start-ups, monitor production line and begin to learn other key positions (i.e. Level 2-4), understand finished product specifications. Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor. All roles in the Hillsboro plant are cross functional and are part of the pay for skills program. This position will also support or work in the Shipping and Receiving job levels as needed to provide flexibility to the plant.\nWorking safely is a core responsibility of the position. Safety, team work and worker flexibility are critical requirements for this position.\nKey Responsibilities:\nUnderstand HMIS, MSDS labels and applications\nRead and understand production schedule\nUnderstand all company product specifications and quality standards\nTrouble shoots and fixes problems in production and reports any problems\nTrained in Lock, Tag, Clear, Try and how to lockout dry end equipment\nEnsure cleaning expectations are met\nAbility to train new employees (production level 1)\nKnow where and how all emergency stop operations work\nWhat to do in an emergency evacuation\nSigned off on all PJO/JSA's for production level 1 position\nAble to perform and maintain all checklists for dry end\nLTCT Certified\nForklift Certified\nKeep scrap and feet area clean and orderly\nChange film on ring wrapper and on full web wrapper\nCut feet material using foot saw\nRe-work bundles to put back on the line\nAble to hand stack bundles during minor upsets\nScraping laminator top and side plates\nDry end start up, shut down and running out the board\nPerform QA core test and learn what adjustments to make accordingly\nRemoving plastic from rollers\nMonitor production during run\nHow to identify knit lines, blow holes, etc. and able to communicate over the radio\nFurther understanding of line adjustments during production\nHow to set out and shim laminator for next run\nLearn how to do countdowns\nLearn how to set up cross cut for all products\nLearn how to set up trim saw for all products\nLearn how to set up perforator for all products\nLearn how to clean and adjust the mold release system\nAble to adjust lengths in cross cut and gang saws\nLearn how to set up gang saw for all products\nLearn how to set up stacker for all products\nLearn how to set up flippers for all products\nPhysical Requirements:\nMust be able to wear PPE (goggles, face shield, gloves, aprons, safety shoes, etc.)\nMust be able to stand for long periods of time on cement floors.\nMust be able to walk, stoop, kneel and climb ladders and staircases.\nMust be able to work on elevated levels.\nMust be able to lift up to 20-50lbs on regular basis.\nMust be able operate mobile equipment.\nMust be able to work overtime as needed and have a flexible work schedule, including weekends.\nQualifications:\nAt least one year working in a warehouse/production environment.\nMust be able to accurately read a tape measure, work instruction, finished product specifications.\nHave general math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions and percentages).\nBeginner to intermediate computer skills (Microsoft office).\nSolid Communication Skills (written/verbal).\nAbility to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.\nUnderstand Root Cause Corrective Action Process\nStrong decision making skills.\nExceptional team player.\nAble to drive a forklift.\nPlease Keep in Mind\nIf you do not meet 100% of these requirements, we at JM still want to hear from you.
