The Fire Suppression Design Team supports Fire Life Safety Sales & Design, including : Fire Protection & Gas Suppression Systems. Primary responsibility will include Project take-offs, specification interpretation, scope of work creation, risk analysis, building code compliance, and value engineering ideas. Follow processes, maintain required quality standards and on time deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction.\nHow you will do it:\nIndependent execution of project throughout the lifecycle.\nDesign the Fire Suppression system per local codes & standard requirements.\nReview MEP drawings, Tender Specs etc. and identify Fire Suppression Requirements.\nComplete input study with the help of input checklist and raise the RFIs.\nPrepare Fire Suppression Layout & Engineering BOM.\nEnsure quality assurance and defect free Fire Suppression Drawings delievery.\nAdherence with all processes and guidelines to execute project within timeline.\nLearn and use company design, bid, and quote tools\nWhat we look for:\nRequired\nBE /M.Tech (Mechnical / Chemical / Instrumentation / Electrical/ Electronics)\n4-8 Years’ experience in relevant field\nPrefer NFPA certified ,CFPS & LPCB Certification attain within 12 months of hire date\nProficient in written and verbal communication. \nShould have strong domain knowledge of Fire Fighting & Gas Supression System\nShould be able to independently carry out Designing Of Gas supression systems like Novec, FM200, Inergen ,Co2 systems, Sprinkler, Hydrant, Water Spray & Special Hazards, Software Hydraulic Calcualtion,Value Engineering and Pump room design, Water Demand calcaultion & Co-ordination part etc.\nKnowledge on BSEN ,NFPA & Relevant codes & standards.\nProficient digital literacy on AutoCad, FireCad,SprinkCad, Revit, Navisworks.\nSuppression System & Product knowledge will be an added advantage.\nUnderstanding the tender documents & specifications.\nMust be a quick learner and team player.\nHighly organized and able to optimally lead multiple simultaneous projects.\nJohnson Controls is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, status as a qualified individual with a disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
