Drive the overall process for application specifications and ensure our sales team receive the best solution as per requirements, and\nProvide pre-sales support on Data Center Airside equipment (CRAH, Fan wall units & CRAC) from reading specifications to preparing selections to providing final optimized quote.\nPre-sales activities include, but are not limited to, system configuration validation, Airside equipment selection for bidding of new Data Center projects with application and pricing.\nInterprets engineering drawings and specifications to develop and provide engineered equipment engineering submittals.\nFollows standardized submittal generation guidelines for preparation and processing of equipment engineering submittals for air side equipment to match schedule, drawing and specification requirements.\nMonitoring the engineering activity and overall project deliverables in terms of quality cost and time and takes responsibility of deliverables for the project.\nInteraction with sales must include systems applications advice, creative solutions to unique customer needs and use of competitor knowledge to create advantages.\nAs a technical executive, work closely with products team for executing technical specifications reviews & optimization strategies for air side products by utilizing market research, trends, technical expertise, competitor’s positioning and how to compete against similar products from competition. You will work closely on optimization strategies proposed by products team, identify gaps and opportunities, and competitor data to develop more competitive technical proposals\nHow you will do it\nAs a Data Center Airside equipment technical executive, you will use your in-depth technical expertise to prepare best optimized offering for Airside equipment\nResponding to field sales project inquiries in connection with product specifications.\nIdentify and propose solutions necessary to meet customer requirements and work with products team to develop new special quotation offerings as per requirements.\nWork on special options requirements and support SQ (Special Quote) needs by getting cost and lead time estimates by working closely with products team\nGuide pre-sales team on system design approaches and enhance competitive advantage by specifying tailored equipment packages\nPrepare/develop compliance statement against project specification\nAs a subject matter expert in Data Center Airside equipment products, you will use your significant knowledge to develop optimized bids.\nYou are a strong Airside equipment application engineer and communicator with a positive attitude combined with sound technical and business judgement able to be self-directed and operate under general guidance\nStrict adherence to the Company’s Code of Conduct and Business Ethics standards.\nWhat we look for\nBE/ME Mechanical or equivalent.\nDemonstrate a high level of knowledge of HVAC Equipment like CRAC, CRAH, fan wall units, & CDU\nA solid understanding on the principles of Enterprise, Colocation, Cloud, Managed services and Hyperscale Data center associated equipment is required\nPreference will be given to individuals with Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or previous applications engineering experience within Data Center Airside Equipment.\nMinimum 6+ years of experience in HVAC Airside (CRAC, CRAH, Fan wall units & CDU) equipment product selection process, preparing design specifications and quotations. \nAbility to perform successfully in a multifunctional team-work environment and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.\nMust be a quick learner & should have a keen eye for problem solving\nProficient in written and verbal communication \nAbility to demonstrate good leadership skills\nPeople management experience would be an added
