Backed by advanced technology, lifecycle services and an industry-leading field organization, we elevate customer performance, turn goals into real-world results and help move society forward.\nWhat you will do:\nThe Associate Director\nLead our centralized engineering teams supporting the balance of our engineering teams throughout the Americas and bring to bear specialized skills and scale as needed to keep projects healthy and on track.\nLead our engineering travel team that provides on-site support to our largest and most complex projects.\nManage our offshore engineering program that brings engineering from our offshore team to the Americas to bring scale and resources to our large and complex projects in the Americas.\nLead our Data Center HVAC / Controls engineering teams supporting our data center customers throughout the Americas.\nHow you will do it:\nOwn outcomes with accountability, safety, and integrity by setting clear expectations, following through on commitments, and reinforcing disciplined execution across the Americas engineering team.\nWork closely with our engineering and operations teams to ensure projects are on track, our teams are prepared, and our projects are profitable.\nCoach and develop the engineering team to ensure we have the proper skills and personal development to meet both the customers’ expectations and projects requirements.\nWin as one team by building trust across sales, service operations, enablement, and branch leadership, and by using diverse perspectives to strengthen decisions.\nUse the engineering dashboards and data to drive On Time Delivery, Positive Engineering Utilization, Profitable Projects, and drive usage of our Offshore Engineering’s teams.\nWork closely with your peers both locally and abroad to drive standardization, quality, and simplifications within our engineering community.\nMaintain a steady operating rhythm that supports clear priorities, timely intervention, and consistent learning across markets.\nWhat we look for:\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in business, engineering, a technical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.\nTypically 10+ years of progressive experience in HVAC, building systems, technical services, engineering, including leadership large complex teams.\nStrong knowledge of commercial HVAC offerings, engineering, financial planning, and project support.\nProven ability to lead through influence, coach leaders, and drive accountability without direct reporting authority in a matrixed organization.\nExperience identifying, onboarding, coaching, and developing talent and supporting succession planning.\nAbility to communicate credibly with customers, operations leaders, and front-line teams.\nStrong financial acumen, analytical capability, structured problem solving, change leadership, and learning agility.\nAbility to travel approximately 40% of the time.\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $140,600 - $234,800 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
