The role focuses on translating business needs into actionable requirements, user stories, and technical specifications while ensuring successful delivery of product roadmap initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nGather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.\nPrepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), solution documents, user stories, and process flows.\nCreate wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using Figma to visualize business requirements and proposed solutions.\nConduct requirement elicitation workshops, discussions, and stakeholder meetings.\nCollaborate with business users, product owners, development teams, QA teams, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.\nManage and track requirements, user stories, tasks, defects, and project progress using Azure DevOps (ADO) and Jira.\nSupport System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing test scenarios, validating requirements, and coordinating issue resolution.\nConduct stakeholder demonstrations and walkthroughs of developed solutions.\nAnalyze business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.\nWork with data, SQL, and reporting tools to provide insights and support decision-making.\nFacilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.\nRequired Skills\nStrong experience in Business Analysis and Requirement Gathering.\nExpertise in preparing BRD, FRD, User Stories, Use Cases, and Solution Documents.\nHands-on experience with Figma for wireframing and UI/UX mockup preparation.\nStrong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and ceremonies.\nExperience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Jira for backlog and project management.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills.\nExperience supporting SIT, UAT, defect management, and stakeholder demonstrations.\nAbility to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in IT / CS or equivalent.\nA minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Business Analyst in Agile environments, with expertise in web and mobile application projects.\nRelevant certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, Scrum, or Agile certifications are an added advantage.\nExperience\n5+ years of relevant Business Analyst experience.\nExperience working in Agile project environments.\nProven experience in stakeholder coordination, requirement analysis, documentation, wireframing, testing support, and project delivery.\nProficiency with SQL and database concepts.\nExperience with Figma, Visio, PowerPoint, and Microsoft applications.\nKnowledge of web and mobile application projects.\nExperience with user testing, data visualization, and technical writing.\nJohnson Controls is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, status as a qualified individual with a disability, or any other characteristic protected by law.
