Acting as a strategic partner to Operations, Engineering and Project Management teams, you will be responsible for developing sourcing strategies, managing supplier and subcontractor relationships, optimizing commercial performance, and ensuring the successful delivery of critical projects.\nThis is an opportunity to combine strong commercial expertise with technical understanding in a fast-paced, project-driven environment where your contribution will have a direct impact on business success.\nWhat will your responsibilities be?\nManage end-to-end procurement and sourcing activities for technical projects.\nIdentify, evaluate, select, and negotiate with subcontractors, installers, technical service providers, and material/equipment suppliers.\nManage RFQs, commercial evaluations, supplier comparisons, and negotiation processes.\nNegotiate pricing, commercial terms, payment conditions, and subcontracting agreements.\nSource technical materials, components, and systems required for Fire & Security and Building Management Systems (BMS) projects.\nDevelop and maintain strong market knowledge by proactively identifying new suppliers and subcontractors and creating competitive sourcing alternatives.\nAnalyze technical scopes of work, specifications, and project requirements to develop effective sourcing strategies.\nAssess and challenge supplier and subcontractor proposals from both a commercial and technical perspective.\nWork closely with Project Management, Engineering, Operations, and other key business stakeholders.\nSupport projects throughout execution and help resolve commercial or supplier-related issues when required.\nIdentify and mitigate commercial, contractual, supplier-capacity, and supply-chain risks.\nContribute to supplier performance management and the continuous development of the supplier and subcontractor base. \nWhat are we looking for?\nRelevant Procurement experience, preferably at Senior Buyer level.\nStrong experience in project procurement and subcontractor management.\nExperience working in technical, engineering, installation, or project-based environments.\nGood knowledge of supplier and subcontractor markets, including the ability to identify, benchmark, and develop alternative sourcing options.\nExperience and/or strong affinity with sourcing technical materials, equipment, and components.\nStrong commercial awareness and excellent negotiation skills.\nAbility to understand technical specifications, scopes of work, and supplier proposals.\nExcellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with Project Management, Engineering, and Operations teams.\nAbility to work autonomously, take ownership, and manage multiple priorities while maintaining a strong team-oriented approach.\nFluent in Spanish and English.\nWhat do we offer?\nJohnson Control offers an interesting remuneration package according to your qualifications and experience.
