Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of chiller experience, with knowledge of maintenance procedures.\nResponsibilities:\nInstall, repair, and maintain various types of chillers, including centrifugal, screw, and absorption chillers.\nPerform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on chillers to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.\nDiagnose and troubleshoot chiller issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions and be able to follow blueprints or engineering specifications.\nRepair or replace defective parts using hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment such as rigging equipment.\nConduct performance tests and adjustments on chillers to meet specified requirements. \nKeep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and work performed.\nCollaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.\nFollow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.\nProvide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and resolving issues in a professional manner.\nPreferred Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMechanical Journeymen’s License.\nProven experience as a Chiller Mechanic or in a similar role.\nStrong knowledge of chiller systems, including operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.\nProficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.\nAbility to effectively use hand and power tools, as well as specialized equipment.\nOperating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with handheld computer (i.e., Smartphone, iPad)\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.\nAlignment to company / project safety program.\nValid driver's license and reliable transportation.\nHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $25-39 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
