In this role, you will partner closely with business leaders, hiring managers, HR teams, and university partners to deliver innovative talent strategies that build diverse pipelines and support future workforce needs.\nBased out of Johnson Controls Headquarters in Glendale, Wisconsin, this position is a remote role within the United States and may require periodic travel for campus recruiting events, career fairs, intern programming, and business partner meetings.\nAs a member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will help shape the future workforce by driving best-in-class candidate experiences, executing university recruiting strategies, and serving as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process.\nHow you will do it:\nLead full-cycle recruitment for intern, co-op, and early careers full-time hiring across multiple business functions.\nBuild and maintain relationships with universities, student organizations, faculty, and career services teams to strengthen talent pipelines.\nPartner with hiring managers to develop hiring strategies, define candidate profiles, and execute effective selection processes.\nRepresent Johnson Controls at career fairs, campus events, information sessions, and networking programs.\nManage candidates through the recruiting process while ensuring timely communication and a positive experience.\nLeverage recruiting data and market insights to improve hiring outcomes and support workforce planning.\nSupport employer branding initiatives and early talent programs that enhance Johnson Controls' presence on campus.\nEnsure recruiting activities comply with employment laws, company policies, and hiring best practices.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nMinimum of 2 years of professional experience in Human Resources or a related function, including Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Total Rewards, Talent Management, People Operations, Employee Experience, or other HR disciplines.\nExperience supporting recruiting, talent acquisition, campus recruiting, university relations, internship programs, or workforce planning activities.\nStrong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.\nAbility to influence and consult with hiring managers and business partners.\nExperience utilizing applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience supporting internship, co-op, new graduate, or early career hiring programs.\nExperience building relationships with universities, colleges, student organizations, or career services offices.\nExperience planning and executing recruiting events, career fairs, or employer branding initiatives.\nFamiliarity with Workday\nJohnson Controls International plc. is an equal employment opportunity and affirmative action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, protected veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a qualified individual with a disability or any other characteristic protected by law.
