You will work closely with electrical, mechanical, controls, manufacturing and project teams to ensure systems are safely tested, integrated and proven before handover.\nThe role offers exposure to complex projects across multiple regions and the opportunity to influence BMS commissioning standards and best practices across the business.\nHow you will do it\nBAS Commissioning & Controls\nCommission and validate BAS/BMS controls from factory testing through final integrated testing.\nReview controls architecture, I/O lists, Description/Sequence of Operation and functional design documentation.\nPerform point-to-point checks, I/O verification and functional performance testing.\nValidate sensors, actuators, valves, VFDs, alarms, interlocks, permissives and control sequences.\nRead, interpret and troubleshoot BMS software/program code and control logic, with the ability to make software modifications where required.\nTroubleshoot controls hardware, software, field devices, networks and third-party system integration.\nDevelop, review and execute commissioning and functional test scripts.\nSystems Scope\nBAS/BMS controllers and supervisory systems.\nAHUs and CRAHs.\nChillers, pumps and hydronic systems.\nCoolant Distribution Units (CDUs).\nRear Door Heat Exchangers (RDHx).\nDirect liquid-cooled racks and associated cooling infrastructure.\nControl valves, actuators, VFDs and instrumentation.\nBAS interfaces with electrical power and critical equipment.\nEPMS, SCADA and third-party system integration.\nBACnet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP and other relevant communication protocols.\nIntegrated Systems Testing (IST) \nLead the BAS/controls contribution to integrated systems testing.\nCoordinate with electrical and mechanical commissioning teams during failure-mode and resilience testing.\nValidate controls response during power loss, equipment failure, communications failure and system recovery.\nVerify redundancy, fail-safe operation, alarms and automated recovery sequences.\nSupport black-building, power-restoration and client-witnessed testing.\nFactory, Site & Regional Support\nSupport commissioning activities from factory testing through deployment and handover.\nReview FAT/FWT/SAT and commissioning documentation.\nWitness equipment startup, load testing and integrated testing.\nProvide technical troubleshooting and escalation support to commissioning teams.\nCapture lessons learned and support consistent commissioning standards across projects.\nSafety & Compliance\nEnsure safe systems of work for commissioning activities.\nApply LOTO, switching-authority and permit-to-work requirements.\nPromote a strong commissioning and controls-safety culture.\nWhat we look for\nRelevant BAS/BMS, controls, automation or commissioning experience.\nPractical understanding of HVAC, hydronic and liquid-cooling systems.\nExperience with data-centre cooling equipment such as CRAHs, chillers, CDUs, Rear Door Heat Exchangers and liquid-cooled racks is advantageous.\nFamiliarity with I/O lists, Description/Sequence of Operation, P&IDs, controls schematics and commissioning test scripts.\nAbility to read and troubleshoot BAS software/program code and control logic.\nUnderstanding of BACnet, Modbus and controls network communications.\nStrong systematic troubleshooting and root-cause-analysis capability.\nData-centre experience is preferred but not essential;
