This individual will provide the marketing expertise to create and execute marketing programs to increase share of wallet and expand channels and customer influence. The Distribution Marketing Manager will maximize program return-on-investment by managing to measurable performance in digital and traditional marketing plans.\nHow you will do it\nWill be the main point of contact for marketing efforts with distribution activities.\nEstablish and maintain relationship with distribution marketing teams on a weekly basis with the objective to run our content in their promos (email blasts, socials, websites, etc.).\nLead efforts to drive our marketing strategy and brand activations through distribution partners\nDevelop, implement and execute a formalized program with distributors, including proactive collaboration with Channel Sales teams at JCI\nProvide marketing support to all distributors in North America, growing their business and serve as point of contact for all distributor marketing efforts\nCollaborate closely with product marketing teams to successfully launch and drive demand for key products through distribution partners\nSupport internal stakeholders across functions by developing marketing strategies and materials to evangelize marketing campaigns through distribution\nDevelop a network of close relationships with top distribution partners, including recurring touchpoint calls (weekly/monthly)\nServe as the subject matter expert on the need’s/pain points of distribution partners\nManage co-op and MDF budgets, working with design team to develop assets including print, digital and video assets for in-store retail marketing efforts, email broadcast promotions, printed brochures and online maintenance of existing JCI Brand Pages with key partners\nEstablish best practices to be adopted across geographic regions\nWhat we look for\nBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or business or equivalent combined education and experience.\nAdvanced experience in multi-channel marketing, security products experience a plus but not required.\nExperience developing external relationships with marketing and sales executives with ability to influence decision making to drive initiatives forward.\nAbility to think critically and systemically to develop effective strategies and achieve accountable business results. \nSelf-starter mentality with a positive attitude to make a difference each day.\nAdapt to changes in business, customer, and consumer needs.\nMust be able to collaborate and influence in a matrix environment to effectively balance business, and functional priorities for win-win results.\nExcellent English language communications skills - written and verbal.\nAbility to make decisions based on rigorous analysis of information.\nSALARY RANGE: $90,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
