Drive a cultural shift towards safety through engagement and leadership, focusing on minimizing work-related injuries. Manage safety and environmental programs, training, and compliance monitoring.\nHow you will do it\nEngage all levels of the workforce to drive cultural change and meet environmental performance goals.\nAct as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with environmental standards.\nConduct incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.\nProvide comprehensive training on environmental programs and safety procedures.\nDevelop and roll out motivational programs to enhance environmental awareness.\nEnsure compliance with industrial hygiene testing and establish continuous improvement plans.\nOversee the management of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, ensuring proper handling and disposal.\nImplement proactive measures to enhance air and waste management controls.\nPresent safety and environmental training tailored to site-specific needs.\nWhat we look for\nRequired:\nBachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Management, or related field.\n5+ years of experience in a safety and environmental role within an industrial setting.\nExperience driving a cultural shift towards safety through engagement and leadership\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to implement action plans based on data analysis.\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills.\nFamiliarity with behavior-based safety programs and ISO 14001 standards.\nHIRING SALARY RANGE: $105,000-122,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)
