INERT Fire Suppression Systems.\nThis is a hands-on role focused on PLC software development, HMI configuration, FAT/iFAT/SAT execution, commissioning and operational support across supplier facilities, JCI sites and project locations.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop, modify and troubleshoot PLC software using Siemens TIA Portal & Rockwell Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk experience.\nConfigure and support HMI/SCADA applications such as WinCC, WinCC Unified, FactoryTalk or similar platforms.\nExecute and support Pre-FAT, FAT, iFAT, SAT and commissioning activities.\nImplement and verify Cause & Effect Matrices, interlocks, alarms, shutdowns and control sequences.\nTroubleshoot PLC, HMI, I/O, instrumentation and communication issues.\nSupport controlled software updates, testing and issue resolution.\nWork closely with engineering teams, suppliers and client representatives to achieve project milestones.\nEssential Requirements\nDegree in Electrical, Automation, Control or Instrumentation Engineering.\nMinimum 5 years' hands-on PLC programming experience.\nStrong experience with Siemens TIA Portal and Studio 5000 (mandatory).\nHMI development experience with WinCC, WinCC Unified, FactoryTalk or equivalent.\nProven experience delivering FAT, iFAT, SAT and commissioning activities.\nKnowledge of industrial communications including Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP and Ethernet/IP.\nExperience implementing control philosophies, Cause & Effect requirements, interlocks and permissives.\nDesirable Experience\nOil & Gas, Marine or Offshore projects.\nFire Suppression Systems, HPU packages or safety-related control systems.\nFunctional Safety awareness (IEC 61508 / IEC 61511).\nOT Cyber Security awareness (IEC 62443).\nRockwell Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk experience.\nWhat We're Looking For\nA practical, hands-on Controls Engineer who can quickly understand control systems, solve automation problems, support project delivery, and work effectively with suppliers, clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams.\nTravel within the UK, Turkey and Vietnam will be required for FAT, commissioning and project support
