Working alongside engineers, you will help ensure that prototypes are tested safely, precisely, and reliably. In addition, you will support the site’s calibration department by coordinating the shipment, receipt, and documentation of equipment requiring external calibration services. We require candidates to be US Citizens and/or permanent residents of the US. Sponsorship is not available for this role.\nHow You Will Do It\nBuild, assemble, and modify test setups, fixtures, and prototypes.\nPerform light carpentry, plumbing, and basic fabrication to support test setup construction.\nInterpret engineering drawings, agency test standards, and work request criteria to ensure accurate setup and configuration.\nManage equipment records within the Fluke MET/TEAM asset management system.\nCoordinate the shipment and receipt of equipment to and from ISO 17025 accredited external calibration vendors.\nMaintain calibration documentation, replace failed or broken calibrated items, and communicate equipment availability to engineering.\nOperate equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and hoists.\nCollect, record, and organize test data with strong attention to detail.\nEstablish and sustain effective working relationships across a variety of teams.\nWhat We Look For \nRequired\nAssociate’s or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering technology, or equivalent practical experience.\nHands-on experience with mechanical assembly, fabrication, or test setup construction.\nExperience with hand tools, power tools, and basic shop equipment.\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, test standards, and measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, tape measures, etc.).\nHigh attention to detail and strong computer skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage technical documentation.\nUS Citizen and/or permanent resident.\nPreferred\nExperience working with hydraulic test loops, including pumps, valves, and flow control systems.\nForklift and scissor lift experience.\nExperience within the fire protection industry. \nHIRING COMPENSATION RANGE: $26/hr - $40/hr (Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
